Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz were together for 12 years before announcing their separation in March 2022. They premiered on the series as a couple and we saw them go through all of the highs and lows a relationship offers up.
There is no set timeline to get back into dating after a relationship ends. There are all kinds of elements to consider, and one can empathize that it could be even more challenging after being with one person for an extended period of time.
After they split, both Katie and Tom spoke about wading back into dating. Vanderpump Rules viewers were introduced to an new era of a solo Katie on the town. So when the Something About Her co-owner began dating Satchel Clendenin, it took some getting used to. They did go their separate ways, but Katie is back on the dating scene and feeling very positive about it.
Katie is in a “really positive place” ahead of dating
Katie spoke with People about her dating life at the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere. She gushed that she was feeling “my vibe” and “really good” with her love life, as it currently is.
It sounds like the Pump Rules star’s confidence is on the rise. And she’s feeling as if the time is right.
The Something About Her co-owner is “much more like in my power” and will be “ready to meet someone if they came along.”
“I was just bringing that energy into the season, like, single, ready to mingle,” she revealed of Season 11. “It’s just like a really positive place. So as much as I was not really digging the idea of being around certain people, I was not gonna let that bother me or affect me too much.”
Meanwhile, Schwartz made a connection with Below Deck Mediterranean alum Katie Flood. They filmed Winter House Season 3 together last March. Their romance did not last the distance, but the duo are still friends.
