It sounds like Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules may be slightly different from what fans expected. After Scandoval broke, tension was high at the Season 10 reunion. Tom Sandoval and his affair partner, Rachel Leviss, were slammed. And Sandoval’s bestie, Tom Schwartz, also caught flack for his inaction. And the supposed new number one guy in the group, James Kennedy, was furious.
The fact that James was once engaged to Rachel probably fanned his fury. James let wicked insults fly at the reunion, like calling Sandoval a “poo-poo head” and “a worm with a mustache.” And while Rachel decided not to return to Pump Rules, she shares her side of events on her new podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue. There, she dropped some bombshells, including that Schwartz knew about the affair the whole time. Yet he decided not to inform Ariana Madix.
Sandoval returned to film Season 11, and fans were skeptical when they saw James hanging out with him. Too soon? In all fairness, someone had to shoot with Sandoval besides Schwartz. Now it sounds like James is willing to repair his friendships with the Toms.
Is it time for James to forgive Sandoval and Schwartz?
At the VPR Season 11 premiere party, James told PEOPLE that he is “working” on mending his relationships with the duo. “It would suck to, like, I don’t know, throw it all the way over a silly mistake,” James stated. But their future friendship is based on “how they act.” Well, let’s just scrub this mission right now.
The DJ continued, “It’s definitely a work in progress. It always is. I mean, one minute we’re up, like the next minute we’ll be down, we’ll see how this season pans out.”
Meanwhile, James has his boo, Ally Lewber. And he now has custody of the dog that he once shared with Rachel. He changed the pup’s moniker from Graham to Hippie. Hopefully, Hippie is happy and living his best life.
