Erika Jayne Addresses ‘Hypocritical’ Claim Over Bringing up Denise Richards’ Daughter

During Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Denise Richards guested on the series. She had two uncomfortable run-ins with Erika Jayne. But Crystal Kung Minkoff’s Taco Tuesday dinner went nuclear when Denise confronted Erika.

She wanted to discuss threesome comments that Erika made years ago in front of her teenage daughter, Sami Sheen. And Erika stooped to a new low when she called out Sami for being on OnlyFans.

Then Erika asked Denise who made more money on OnlyFans, her or her daughter. Her RHOBH co-stars’ jaws were on the floor. Just when it looks like Erika can’t go any lower, she finds a way.

Was Erika Jayne being a hypocrite for bringing up Denise’s daughter?

Erika was recently a guest on Watch What Happens Live, and fielded a question from a fan. “What is your response to fans who think you were being hypocritical bringing up Denise’s daughter when you were upset with Eileen [Davidson] in the past for bringing up your son?” the viewer asked.

As you may recall, Erika lost it on Eileen when she made a remark about her son, who works as a police officer. WWHL host Andy Cohen chimed in. “Oh, interesting question.”

“Yeah. I see this a lot by the way on social media. Umm, you know I wouldn’t have brought up Denise’s daughter had she not pushed so hard. That’s really the truth and that’s the answer,” Erika explained. “I did not want to do this. I did not want to go there and I really meant that but if you want it you can get it. Umm, yeah.”

But Andy wasn’t going to let Erika out of the hot seat. “Is it hypocritical or is it … do you see the double standard?” he asked.

“Not really,” Erika replied. “But I will say this. I have a much better control emotionally over my son’s profession than I did then. I think if you were to say it to me today I’d be like, ‘Yeah,’” she stated.

Andy asked, “To what do you attribute that?” The RHOBH star responded, “Time. I mean he was basically a rookie at that time and now he’s like a sergeant. So, you know, we’ve been through so much,” she added.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
