While Alexis might seem like an easy target, she’s no longer the one. No one knows this better than Shannon Beador Detective Meghan. In an effort to maintain significance not related to her own disparaged love life, Megs shared sensitive information about someone who actually has a love life. Lex is fighting back and not for nothing, she’s fighting very well.
“Disgusted and completely hurt”
This is not the same Alexis from the Real Housewives of Orange County of yore. No ma’am. She’s furious, she’s talking about it, and yes, we love to see it. For whatever reason, Detective Megs wasn’t able to figure out ahead of time that sharing someone’s personal stuff wasn’t going to bring her closer to relevancy.
Megs’ decision to share her hot takes isn’t going over very well with Alexis and she took to social media to share her thoughts. On her Instagram Stories this week, Alexis wrote, “Sharing our private texts with the world may be the lowest point yet in your pursuit of fame.”
She added, “I’m disgusted and completely hurt by your actions.” The “actions” consist of Meghan sharing a text message exchange with Alexis and I have to agree with her on this one, it was a pathetic move on Megs’ part. After Meghan tried to “warn” Alexis about Johnny J, Lex responded with a casual, “Thank you for your love and support.”
So Lex shared some of her response texts back to Meghan. She wrote, “Really??? I am not only in shock… I’m completely heartbroken because I thought you were my true friend.”
And the post continued … “Maybe read this text to Page 6: ‘I thought Meghan was my friend and concerned for my vulnerable heart; however, she’s actually the one who just chose fame over a friendship to disclose certain private texts that were FALSE and taken out of context.’”

Then Alexis revealed a side we rarely see. A snarky side, a fierce side. This is the side we want on RHOC Season 18, btw. She added another slide that featured Meghan’s failed search to regain employment on Bravo. Lex proceeded to use each and every one of Megs’ married last names to prove a point.
“Find a different friend to use, Meghan O’Toole King McDill Edmonds Biden Owens,” she wrote. Well damn.
Game, set, and match goes to Ms. Bellino.
Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 is currently in production and hopefully, Alexis and her new attitude are on board. As for Meghan, we don’t know her.
