Welcome back! Let’s jump right into our recap for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Episode 12. Last week, the ladies spent the day in Ojai to celebrate Annemarie’s birthday. This week’s episode is titled “Bitter Pill to Swallow.” Dorit welcomes the ladies to a Homeless Not Toothless charity event, where Crystal takes on Annemarie. Sutton felt salty about Mauricio
During last week’s episode, Kyle honored her best friend, Lorene Shea, with a celebration of life event. Sadly, Lorene took her own life. Kyle’s friends and family were present. But Mauricio was not.
Of course, Sutton asked why Mauricio wasn’t there. “He was in Mexico City,” Kyle replied. “He was in Aspen, then Mexico City.”
Sutton was angry on Kyle’s behalf. “I’m not accepting the excuse that Mo is giving,” Sutton stated in her confessional. “Unless you are in the hospital, or dead in a ditch, you show up for your wife, and your wife’s dead, best friend’s family.”
At Kyle’s event, Sutton invited her RHOBH co-stars on a trip to Barcelona. But first Annemarie needs to deliver an apology to Sutton.
Crystal was annoyed with Annemarie
Crystal called Garcelle to discuss Annemarie’s fascination with Sutton’s esophagus. I feel like her esophagus is a recurring guest this season. Crystal was pissed that Annemarie implied that Sutton has an eating disorder.
And according to Crystal, when she met Annemarie, she claimed to be an anesthesiologist and not a nurse anesthetist. Crystal was repulsed by Annemarie’s obsession with poor Sutton.
Let the mouse go, Annemarie. You are coming on too strong.
Dorit’s Homeless Not Toothless Gala
Dorit thought that her husband, PK, had been trying to be supportive since their therapy session. Well, let’s see how long that lasts.
Mauricio and Kyle headed to the event, and he asked about Lorene’s Celebration of Life event. He tried to justify missing it by saying he needed to get caught up after all his travel. Kyle dropped the news that she was heading to Spain soon, and her hubby looked shocked. “It’s a little taste of his own medicine, to be honest,” Kyle said in her confessional.
But Kyle’s patience with Mauricio seemed to wear off by the time they arrived. He was joking with Annemarie and her husband, Marcellus, and Kyle asked if his drink contained weed or alcohol. In addition, Kyle felt like everyone was scrutinizing every gesture between her and her husband. Fair enough.
Sutton and her “magical esophagus”
Erika was back after her bout with COVID. And all the ladies looked stunning at the gala. Sutton packed her “magical esophagus” for the festivities. Of course, Sutton also has an “mp,” or “magical p*ssy” because “it’s smooth and silky … and also very tight.” So, she has the total package. Did her matchmaker add this info to her dating profile?
Sutton motioned Annemarie over to their table, and the ladies knew that Sutton and her esophagus were fired up. Sutton told Annemarie that they needed “to talk” right now. Annemarie accused Sutton of yelling at her and then lying.
According to Annemarie, Sutton lied about being able to drink with her medication and about her small esophagus. The Georgia peach explained to Annemarie that she has a specialist, a gastroenterologist, taking care of her.
Crystal told Annemarie what she really thinks
Crystal interjected, telling the group that Annemarie called Sutton a liar at Kyle’s event. Then Annemarie, who must have lost her memory, accused Crystal of claiming that Sutton had an eating disorder. Does Annemarie know that this show is actually filmed? Her remarks are on tape. Roll them back!
So, Crystal slammed the newbie and told her that she and Garcelle left after listening to Annemarie drone on about Sutton for nearly two hours. Then she outed Annemarie for saying that she was a doctor, not a nurse. I believe this, as Annemarie seems to be lying the most out of everyone. “You’re such a bitch!” Crystal exclaimed.
Finally, Annemarie gave Sutton a fake “non-apology” that Sutton accepted to stop the noise. Meanwhile, poor Dorit was appalled at her friends’ behavior.
At the gala, Sutton was seated next to Mauricio, and she wasn’t pleased that he skipped his wife’s emotional event. But then, Paula Abdul introduced 80’s singer Taylor Dayne’s performance. Everyone started singing and dancing. We even saw Mauricio’s groovy dance moves. Lucky, lucky us.
Kyle tried to make peace
Sutton ordered Kyle to connect with Annemarie and smooth everything over before Barcelona. Annemarie said that Crystal “mocked” her job, and she won’t apologize to Crystal. Or possibly even speak to her while in Spain. That would make Crystal extremely happy. And now Annemarie believes that Crystal’s regrets about not attending medical school were being transferred onto her.
Afterward, Annemarie called Sutton to give an actual apology. She was sorry “for her part in everything that happened.” But Sutton felt that Annemarie’s part was the only part. They agreed to move forward to have a good time in Barcelona.
Crystal and Jeff discussed his future
Crystal reunited with her brother, Jeff, after he returned from Asia. They were still working out issues from Jeff’s broken engagement, and Crystal’s role in that. He finally met with his ex-fiancée and admitted that Vivi never felt accepted by Crystal and their mother. He has decided that he is going to move to Bangkok for half a year to pursue his music career. Crystal accepted that she had to let her brother have his own life.
