Summer House’s Sam Feher Confirms Kory Keefer Breakup

It’s the end of the situationship. Sam Feher and Kory Keefer have cut ties with each other. Though, from what was evident, the knot was hardly a tight one.

Sam was a good sport to Kory’s antics and tiptoed around any talk of relationships, labels, and commitment. All the while looking gorgeous and sure of herself. They did decide to be boyfriend and girlfriend at the end of Winter House Season 3, but it took eight months for Kory to get there mentally.

But finally, it was the Summer House star who called it quits after concluding that her expectations weren’t being met. Kory’s behavior on Winter House didn’t help solidify any feelings of trustworthiness either.

Sam won’t “talk s-t” about Kory

Sam’s Instagram followers speculated that a breakup may have occurred recently after the reality TV star posted about a “fresh start.”

And during an appearance on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast Tuesday, Sam confirmed what was speculated.

“I’m not even out here to talk s–t. I think he’s great, I didn’t break up with him because I don’t love him. I broke up with him because he doesn’t love me, and that’s that,” the Summer House star explained.

One problem for Sam was the lack of reciprocation when she said “I love you.” Kory “didn’t say it back.” Rather, he “never said it for the rest of the relationship.”

“That was like really a big problem for me,” Sam continued. “I was like, ‘I think I need to get out, it’s becoming clear.’”

Sam’s decision may have been clear to her, but the Winter House bad boy was “shocked” and “floored” by it. Apparently, she called him just before the holidays to end the long-distance relationship after Kory put her through one final drama.

Sam explained that she sent a text inviting him to New Year’s Eve with her family which was ignored for 48 hours. At that point, the Bravolebrity was sure it was time to cut and run.

“When your long-distance boyfriend doesn’t communicate with you for 48 hours, and there’s nothing wrong, there’s something wrong,” Sam said. “Like that’s so weird. Why do you wanna go 48 hours without talking to me at all like that’s so crazy.”

Kory got defensive and called back to accuse Sam of “testing” him by “timing” his responses. His arguments did not affect Sam’s resolve. In fact, it was the “first time” she felt sure that she was “making the right decision.”

No one needs the gaslighting

“That’s the kind of gaslighting I don’t need in my life,” she added.

“We were talking and talking, and he was like, ‘What are you saying? Are you saying we should break up?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ Silence,” Sam said of the conversation.

Sam complimented Kory’s maturity “about the split” after he “apologized.” He told her, “I wish it was different.”

“All I could think about is, you don’t wish badly enough to treat me right,” she added. “Like you can wish all you want, but if you would do anything to change how it was, then you can do the bare minimum. He was like, ‘I can do anything except that.’”

It seems that Kory’s behavior on Winter House was a sign of things to come. He came into the house claiming to be single for starters and only cleaned up his act when Sam showed up. Who could blame her for wanting more in the end?

Summer House Season 8 will air February 22 on Bravo.
