The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion continues this week with Part 2, and a new preview shows Monica Garcia opening up about her relationship with her wannabe mom, Linda Darnell. You can watch the sneak peek for yourself ahead of the Part 2 premiere below.
Monica discusses mom Linda after calling Angie K a “piece of sh*t”
When Angie Katsanevas brings up Monica’s kids, she’s called a “piece of sh*t” for her efforts. Thankfully, host Andy Cohen is able to move the conversation on. Unfortunately for Monica, it’s to talk about her mother.
After a tape shows their fractured relationship, Monica provides an update on where things currently stand. She reveals that she hasn’t spoken to her mom “since filming wrapped,” so her family suddenly not wanting to meet her in Bermuda is still an “unsolved mystery.”
“My mom had messaged production before we all went to Bermuda, and she said ‘I wanna go,” explained Monica. “Production said ‘no,’ so she was very, very pissed.” Linda reportedly then “threw a huge fit,” which led to Monica’s suspicions about her getting in touch with the family she hoped to meet in Bermuda.
Monica also opened up about her father. He left when she was just four years old. “The last time my mom said she saw him was at our house, and he wanted us to move to Florida,” Monica said. After Linda refused to move, Monica never heard from him again.
At this stage, Monica’s unsure if she would like to meet her dad. But she does want to know what he looks like.
Monica also addresses her mom tweeting about the show every week, and how her mom had dreams of working in television. Andy notes that Linda got her wish with RHOSLC. Perhaps Monica’s involvement with Reality Von Tease was learned behavior…
