Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8 will likely go down in history. Whether it’s for the right or wrong reasons depends on who you ask. The drama has been off the charts, and fans and stars alike have certainly taken notice.
As with any good reality show, Below Deck Med shines most brightly by way of the cast interactions. Like lead deckhand Luka Brunton trying to kick Max Salvador into high gear. Or the wildfire drama between stews Tumi Mhlongo, Natalya Scudder, and Kyle Viljoen.
Recently, Luka and Jack Luby appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where Andy Cohen questioned them about some of these cast dynamics.
Below Deck Med Season 8: Luka can’t say three nice things about Max
In perhaps one of the most ill-conceived segments on WWHL, a terribly annoying cartoon egg asked Luka to name one crew member from Below Deck Down Under that he’d never want to work with again. It took him a moment to think about it, but Luka eventually responded, “Culver [Bradbury].”
The egg then asked Jack who he’d marry, shag, and kill between Tumi, Natalya, and Lily Davison. As Jack thought of how to answer, Andy commented on the conceit of the cartoon egg, wondering what its deal was. Jack then said, “I’d marry Lily, I’d shag Natalya, and I’d have to kill Tumi by default.”
Luka was then tasked with saying three nice things about Max’s work ethic. “He means well,” Luka began. A good start. “I think he tries. And … yeah, I think that’s it for hard work ethic.” Jack was then asked to rate Kyle as a bully on a scale of one to 10. “I’d say he could be an eight on a good day. Not always.” Well said. Here’s hoping we never see that egg again.
