The Best Times Jennifer Lawrence Called Out Bravo Stars

Jennifer Lawrence is that one Hollywood A-lister who is relatable, down-to-earth, and enjoys a sense of humor, unlike some other stiffs in Tinsel Town. Not only does she seem like a decent human being, but her performances in movies like The Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook have won her fans all over the world. But who knew she was such a big Bravo fanatic? Honestly, this makes her a demi-god to me. Just like other passionate fans, Jennifer too has had a few opinions about certain Bravolebrites that she hasn’t kept to herself.

Jen Goes the Pretty Mess

The Academy Award winner likes to spend some of her downtime thinking about the drama on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, specifically the stuff surrounding Erika Jayne. The Pretty Mess singer has been a polarizing character from day one, thanks to her May/December romance with Tom Girardi. But Erika’s real villain era came when she was trying to fight against accusations that she was a part of her ex-husband’s schemes.

While attending the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, via Variety, Jennifer spoke out about RHOBH Season 12. “My biggest problem with this season is that it’s just been boring, and I think that Erika is evil,” Jennifer said. “I would go as far as to say she needs a publicist ASAP.”

Erika volunteered as tribute by clapping back at the actress on Watch What Happens Live, via People. “Well, you know, it’s easy to label people when they are at their absolute lowest going through something in real time on television,” Erika told Andy Cohen. “But anytime that she would like to come on down and mix it up with us, I’m sure that we could unmask the ugly parts of her personality as well.”

Jen Comes for Lala

During a 2018 Watch What Happens Live episode, via Us Weekly, Jennifer revealed that she wasn’t such a fan of Lala Kent and thought she was one of the fakest Bravo personalities. The Golden Globe winner announced that she didn’t think it was nice for Lala to be two-faced when it came to her friend group, noting, “I’m like, ‘Bit*h, you’re a c*nt!'” Not one to leave the drama on the table, Lala famously took to her Twitter with now-deleted posts, via People.

One tweet read, “Did Jennifer Lawrence really just call me a c*nt on Bravo Watch What Happens Live? And talk about my mama? Bit*h, you better pray I don’t see you in the streets. You’re one of the highest-paid actresses on the planet. You claim you are pro-women, and you call another woman a c*nt? You’re gross.”

Ultimately, Lala’s manager told her to delete the post. Later, Lala spoke out about the incident. “I was such a huge fan of hers, and it just, it bummed me out,” she said. “Let’s leave the trash up to people like me who do reality TV. Don’t try to steal my thunder, girlfriend.”

Jen Voices Her Opinion on Scandoval

No one in their right mind is a fan of Tom Sandoval. However, it seems Jennifer also has a certain disdain for the bar owner. The news of Scandoval broke back in March 2023 and left the Bravosphere spinning out of control. Everyone has an opinion about the affair, with the X-Men star being no different.

In an interview on the red carpet with the Associated Press, Jen’s razor-sharp wit came into play as she shared her thoughts on the possibility of a movie about Scandoval. “I don’t know if I hate any actors enough to want them to play [Tom] Sandoval,” Jen admitted.

During Watch What Happens Live, she told Andy Cohen that if Tom was standing in front of her, she would tell him, “I curse the day you were born. You have…bad skin. You have weirdly feminine—in a bad way—skin and there’s no amount of spray tan that can ever change the texture of it.”

It’s safe to say that Jen will always have some strong opinions about Bravo, and we’re here for it all. Mention it all, Jen!
