Bravo knows what it’s doing with Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and Season 4 was no exception! RHUGT Season 4 was the RHONY legacy season and featured Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Kristen Taekman, Ramona Singer, and Kelly Killoren Bensimon.
While RHUGT Season 4 was a great time entertainment wise, it was not without its flaws. As to be expected with any Real Housewives show, there were some controversial fashion statements. While there were a number of wardrobe malfunctions and memorable fashion moments in RHUGT Season 4, these stood out to us as the worst!
Ramona’s Neon Green Bra & Sparkly Cover Up
Ramona was always one of the more stylish women on RHONY, but she had a few questionable outfits on RHUGT. Ramona’s most interesting choice was the neon green bra and sparkly see-through cover-up she sported on a night out. The dinner was neon-themed, and while Ramona’s green bra certainly fit the requirement, she could have done better.
The rest of the women went all out, such as Sonja, who sported neon pink from head to toe. Ramona’s outfit just seemed lazy in comparison to the rest of the women and looked somewhat cheap. Neon green is arguably the most vibrant of the neon colors, and Ramona could have done better than the basic and shiny long-sleeve cover-up.
Dorinda’s Pink Confessional Dress With Gold Chains
Dorinda made a few bad fashion calls during RHUGT Season 4, one of which was a confessional look. Dorinda sported a sparkly hot pink dress, but the color was not the problem. What really brought the dress down was the uneven gold chains, which served as the straps.
It’s hard to pull off chains, but there are a few things that could have made this look better. The gold did not contrast well with the hot pink, so perhaps silver chains would have complimented the rest of the dress more. Furthermore, the chains were not the most firm, which made the dress look somewhat sloppy.
Kristen’s Very Loud Earrings
Kristen was one of the best dressed on RHUGT Season 4, but even the best of the best slip up from time to time. Jewelry is just as crucial as the outfit itself, a memo Kristen did not seem to get when she chose these interesting earrings.
Earrings come in pairs, and should be symmetrical. This was not the case for Kristen’s dangle multi-colored stone earrings, which had different colors on both sides. That’s a big no no! Apart from the lack of symmetry, Kristen’s earrings were just way too much for her simple white dress. While it never hurts to add some color, Kristen may have went a little overboard when choosing these!
Luann & Dorinda Also Chose Bold Outfits That Night
On the same night that Kristen went bold on the accessories, Luann and Dorinda went bold on the dresses. Unfortunately, neither woman’s choice paid off. Dorinda, on one hand, chose a long sleeve tight-fitting color block dress. While color block has potential, the neon green, hot pink, orange, brown, and black colors just did not mesh at all. The only redeeming quality was Dorinda’s purple earrings, which complimented the primary color of the dress.
Luann, on the other hand, completely missed the mark. Luann went for a short orange dress with blue print paired with large dangle earrings. While orange and blue may be complimentary colors, this does not mean they need to be paired together on a night out. The colors clashed, and Luann’s accessories did not offer much support to make up for the fashion fail.
Dorinda’s Blue & White Confessional Dress
Sorry Dorinda, your confessional looks were lacking just a tad this season. While blue and white is a color combination that almost never fails, it somehow did here. The different shades of blue overpowered the simple white, and made the dress too loud and complicated.
The main issue with this dress, however, was the style of it. The fit was very baggy, almost like an oversized robe. Nothing about this look screamed girls trip, which it should have! While Dorinda may have been trying to compliment the Caribbean with this outfit, unfortunately, it just did not work.
