Andy Cohen Compares RHOSLC Season 4 Finale to The Sixth Sense

The Season 4 finale of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was perfect. It was beyond shocking. When Heather Gay outed Monica Garcia for her role behind the snarky account Reality Von Tease, I couldn’t believe it.

Of course, Monica stated that she never trolled Heather, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, and Whitney Rose. Monica’s purpose was to take down Jen Shah, her former employer. But someone did troll the RHOSLC cast members from the snark account.

Monica claimed that Heather’s hair stylist, Tenesha Luckett created the account. It’s something she denies. Meanwhile, Heather claimed that Tenesha, who used to be besties with Monica, came forward with all the receipts. MESSY! Andy Cohen is also still reacting to the finale. And he likened it to an eerily popular film.

Andy recently compared the Season 4 RHOSLC finale to a cinematic gem. “It was like watching The Sixth Sense,” Andy told US Weekly. He would categorize it as one of the “top 10” finales in Housewives history. “It was just beautifully produced. It was dramatic.”

In case you need a reminder, The Sixth Sense, which came out in 1999, ended with a twist no one saw coming. Bruce Willis’ character, Malcolm, was a ghost. I’m not sure who that makes Heather in this comparison.

Anyway, Andy also had props for the producers, applauding what a “phenomenal job” they did. “You didn’t know who they were coming up against or what was happening, and it was great,” he said.

“What’s interesting is when you look at the evolution of Heather this time last year. She came to that reunion last year, she was really not in a good place with herself, with the show, with the fans, and what a difference a year makes,” he said. “I’m really happy for her.” Heather made a comeback in a big way.

Did anyone know about Monica’s involvement in Reality Von Tease?

So, did anyone realize that Monica was involved in Reality Von Tease? “We knew that she worked with Jen and we knew that she had turned on Jen. The Reality Von Tease stuff was a surprise,” Andy explained.

He also said that it was “too early to speculate” about what, if any, role Monica will have going forward. Andy said, “I think one of the great things about the reunions is that it’s a chance for people to say their piece and kind of appeal to their castmates if they’ve been ostracized. I think it’s a conversation to be had after the reunion airs and see where people are at — fans and castmates,” Andy added.

Let’s see if Monica can resurrect her job as a Salt Lake City housewife next season.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 Reunion continues Tuesday, January 16, at 8/7c on Bravo.
