Below Deck Adventure star Faye Clarke announced a big surprise in late December 2023: a brand new baby girl! Her fans were especially surprised since she’d never even disclosed her pregnancy.
The London native announced her daughter’s arrival on social media. “For all those that have supported me over the past 9 months, checking in on me! Msging, calling, visiting, and caring, helping me move into my new home! Watching my journey with my new dog, setting up a new business in Faversham. HERE IS THE UPDATE ON OUR BABY GIRL WHO ENTERED THE WORLD [November 22, 2023]. I call her ours because I feel the love from you all. A huge shout-out to my birthing partner! And all friends and family that was on standby! ”
Because she wanted to protect her privacy, Faye kept her condition to herself but continuously filmed updates for a video following her journey to motherhood.
Pregnancy fashion sense
“It was so hard keeping my pregnancy a secret from you as I tell u guys everything,” Faye captioned an Instagram video highlighting her pregnancy fashion choices. “But I documented the whole lot to share with you now!”
Taking her time naming her daughter, Faye finally settled on a name four weeks after her birth: Brianna Maddox Mae Clarke. She explained that “Brianna” means “Noble,” while “Maddox” means “Fortune” in Celtic. “Mae” is for her dad’s mother who died when he was only 21, and “of course, CLARKE because she’s going to be a f*cking warrior!”
Her yachting co-stars were quick to offer congratulations on the new arrival. Captain Kerry Titheradge responded, “Congratulations luv, you both look amazing!!!” Former Below Deck chief stew Adrienne Gang wrote, “You are both BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations!!!”
Faye isn’t the only former crew member to give birth in 2023. Below Deck‘s Kate Chastain welcomed her son Sullivan in May 2023. Like Faye, Kate has kept the identity of her child’s father private.
