The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion is the talk of the town, and with good reason. Things had never before become so meta in a Real Housewives franchise, as Monica Garcia was exposed for her involvement in a RHOSLC troll account.
Of course, while that was certainly the most jaw-dropping moment of the season, there was plenty of other drama too. As much as some fans might like the reunion to focus entirely on taking down Monica, there are other points of discussion worth addressing.
For example, the moments of vitriol between friends Lisa Barlow and Whitney Rose. Whitney was already a bit hurt by Lisa’s growing relationship with Heather Gay, and things took a turn for the worse when Lisa wanted to gossip amid Whitney’s loss of a dear friend. Now, a clip from the reunion showed the two addressing Whitney’s frustrations. With Monica chiming in, of course.
Does Whitney feel responsible for Lisa’s growth?
On January 4, Bravo released a new preview of the RHOSLC Season 4 Reunion. In the clip, Andy Cohen asked Whitney, “Do you stand by your statement that Lisa lacks self-awareness and makes every situation about herself?” Before Andy could even finish the question, Whitney said, “Yes!”
She tried to explain herself further but tripped over her words with so many thoughts undoubtedly in her head. Lisa asked if she would have the chance to defend herself. When Lisa asked, Monica jumped in to say, “Shut up. Honestly.” Lisa claimed her intentions were “misinterpreted.” Whitney disagreed, chastising her for ignoring the group post-confrontations.
Lisa acknowledged, “I do do that,” adding, “because I would rather take a step back.” Lisa compared herself to a bulldog, unable to refrain from coming in hard. Monica let out exasperated breaths. Whitney encouraged Lisa to just say she needed space, and Lisa agreed to do so. When asked if she felt responsible for Lisa’s growth as a person, Whitney flat-out said, “No.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 reunion begins Tuesday, January 9, at 8/7c on Bravo.
