Despite Kyle Richards’ many protests that she isn’t dating country singer Morgan Wade, the two aren’t all that savvy when it comes to dissuading the rumors. Every week, it seems like Kyle does something on or off the show to reignite suspicion.
The rumors started almost as soon as news broke of Kyle and Mauricio Umansky’s marital troubles. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars were reportedly on rocky footing, but the specifics were (and majorly still are) unknown.
Attention soon turned to Morgan Wade, given her matching ring and tattoo with Kyle. Fans had to wonder if Kyle’s friendship with Morgan was more than just friendship. And despite Kyle’s insistence there’s nothing there, well, her words don’t help her cause.
Morgan Wade assuages Kyle Richards’ anxiety
A sneak preview of what’s to come on RHOBH Season 13 saw Kyle admit that she would date a woman. Everything started when, during lunch, Kyle asked the rest of the group if they would ever consider “dating a woman.” The question must’ve been rather unexpected considering how Dorit Kemsley nearly spat out her wine.
Crystal Kung Minkoff turned the question back on Kyle. “Would you?” she asked. Kyle didn’t consider it all that much before saying, “Yep.” PEOPLE also reported on a clip from the teaser wherein Kyle looked at her phone with a stressed expression, telling Morgan, “I’m so anxious.” As she bit her lip in nervousness, she further expressed her reservations.
“I really don’t know if I can do it,” Kyle said. Morgan, for her part, assured the RHOBH star, “You got it.” As to what they were talking about, audiences will unfortunately just have to wait and see. Despite Kyle’s insistence that there’s no romance with Morgan, most of her actions say otherwise. This begs the question: is Kyle baiting us?
