Winter House Season 3 fans watched Danielle Olivera navigate single life after her two year relationship with Robert Sieber ended months prior to filming. She was raw at times, and a bit off balance. The Summer House star pursued, then bedded Alex Propson, and tried to keep her cool while the Below Deck Mediterranean alum kept things casual.
But interestingly, Danielle saw her ex in Aspen, Colorado, in an attempt to get closure just before filming Winter House. Viewers sympathized with her heartbreak that clearly took a toll on her in Season 3. And the recent reunion has raised the topic of Robert again.
Danielle’s now speaking her truth, and for Robert, that may be hard to hear.
Danielle questioned if Robert had an “emotional connection”
Danielle appeared on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast on Tuesday, December 26, where she spoke about the demise of the relationship.
“[This is] the way it went down in the end,” the reality TV star explained. “When someone breaks up with you … and then it comes out that, ‘Oh, no, you just wanted to date someone else. Why’d you have to make me feel bad in the process?’”
Danielle was convinced that Robert was having an emotional affair while they were still together. He started dating one woman after splitting up with Danielle, though he denied any “emotional connection” with the co-worker prior.
Host Amanda Hirsch called the move “gaslighting.” Both she and her guest agreed that the “f*cking buzzword” is overused. Danielle added, “But I think this one actually means it.”
The former lovebirds split in November 2022, “right before Thanksgiving.” And Danielle saw her ex in Aspen, Colorado while traveling with friends. The chef moved there for work, and the Bravolebrity revealed that she got the closure that she needed.
“It was a very big closure moment, and I had heard he was seeing someone else who I had suspected during the breakup,” she explained.
Summer House fans will get “more” context for the split during Summer House Season 8. The premiere date has yet to be announced.
