Look out world — Cynthia Bailey and her cheekbones are booked and busy!
After getting the boot from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia has kept herself in the spotlight, making appearances literally all over our television screens. From Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to the Lifetime network, Cynthia has been popping up everywhere, and now she can add one more entry to her IMDb.
Starz just announced that Cynthia landed a role in Season 3 of their hit series BMF. A new teaser for Season 3 just dropped, and we got our first look at Cynthia in action. Check it out below.
Let’s meet BMF’s “Gloria”
For those unfamiliar with BMF, it’s a popular series produced by 50 Cent. Based on the real-life story of the Black Mafia Family, it follows Demetrius “Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory as they develop their notorious crime organization. Season 3 follows the pair as they enter the 90s and take their operation from Detroit to Atlanta.
It would have been amazing to see Cynthia play some sort of badass mafia boss on this show. That’s not the case this time. For Season 3 of BMF, Cynthia plays the role of “Gloria.” The character description lists her as “Detective Bryant’s hard-working ex-wife who is grappling with their son’s legal battle.”
According to the synopsis of Season 3, Gloria and Detective Bryant can’t afford the lawyers to help their son get out of his legal situation. However, Gloria is angrily pushing her husband to figure it out in any way he can. In the first-look pictures from her time on set, you can see Cynthia fully in character and rocking a set of nurse’s scrubs.
Cynthia isn’t the only celebrity joining the cast of BMF Season 3. Additionally, Rappers 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, and Saweetie will make appearances. Talk about a star-studded cast.
BMF’s third season premieres on Friday, March 1, 2024 on Starz. While we wait for the new season, the first two are available to stream.
