Sounds like Lisa Barlow is having some scary moments amid her son’s first big trip away from home. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star might not be a traditional Mormon, but her son is certainly working on it. Right now Jack Barlow is on a mission trip pretty far away from Utah.
Jack’s selected site to visit was Colombia. While Lisa had a nice location reveal party for Jack on the show, she did note some unsettling things she had heard about the South American country. Now it appears poor Jack is laid up in the hospital, for three days now. Lisa revealed this new turn of events and discussed it on social media.
Lisa must be worried sick
The reason why Jack is in a Columbian hospital remains a mystery, but my boss and I are going with food poisoning. Because this boy had never had meals prepared outside of a microwave oven, perhaps his stomach wasn’t ready for “real” food. Unfortunately, even if Jack’s medical stay is no big deal, it doesn’t make it any easier for Mom.
Lisa tweeted, “I miss Jack every day – he has been in the hospital for 3 days and it’s killing me not being there.” Honestly, it must be awful. But my legs would have to be manually pulled off my body to not be on the next vessel out of town and headed to wherever my kid is.
She added, “My emotions are fine I’m not hiding them anymore to make others feel better.” While physicians are giving Jack the once-over, she “will know more tomorrow.” Fans praised Lisa in the comments for being such a caring mom and she noted, “Thank you!!! I’m very close to my kids.” Unless of course it concerns major life events and then she’s not so close to them.
Thankfully it appears Jack is not too bad off and is in good hands. As for Lisa, she will continue missing him and hoping he remembers to let her know when he’s released. Get well soon, Jack!
