Juan Dixon hasn’t been the best husband to Robyn Dixon. As we’ve all seen on Real Housewives of Potomac, these high school sweethearts have already divorced once over Juan’s infidelities. Even though Robyn eventually remarried Juan, he’s still out here, acting up. While Robyn might be comfortable turning a blind eye to her husband’s behavior, we’re still going to call a spade a spade today, by listing the worst ways that Juan has disrespected Robyn over the years.
Juan’s Hot Mic Moment – Season 2
In Season 2, the then-divorced couple conversed, as Robyn was trying to piece together a schedule before Juan’s basketball camp began. Her doing this helped Juan, as she was trying to schedule media interviews and a photo shoot, alongside Juan’s needed haircut for said shoot. This camp was pivotal for their family, as it provided them with “another stream of income.” Even still, Juan acted annoyed that he even had to talk to Robyn that morning.
“Sometimes Juan doesn’t really want to talk about the important things in life,” Robyn relayed to the cameras. This woman always tries to explain away her man’s behavior. Yet, when any of her female cast mates speak to her poorly, it’s on. Where is this same energy for Juan, Robyn?!
After their failed conversation, Juan walked off, butthurt. Luckily, for us, the moron left his mic on. When a producer followed him, Juan’s words were captured, and aired on Bravo.
“I’m too old for this sh*t. I’m tired of living like this,” Juan huffed. In response, the producer asked Juan if he wanted to stay together with Robyn. “If I didn’t have Corey and Carter, I would be gone already,” Juan whispered back, as we all died on the inside, for Robyn.
At the reunion, Andy Cohen asked Juan if he could see a romantic future with Robyn. “We don’t have that conversation,” Juan answered, while literally everyone cringed. Andy then asked Juan if he felt bad for cheating, and Juan clearly hated this level of accountability. “I’m not gonna let you paint the picture like it was all on Juan Dixon,” his low-key mad voice stated.
At this early-on point, Juan’s feelings for Robyn were clear. He didn’t care for her, at all, and he disrespected her all season.
Juan Constantly Fails to Emotionally Support Robyn
While on a cast trip in Season 8, the ladies on RHOP were getting on Robyn’s nerves, specifically Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, and Candiace Dillard Bassett. These three women were questioning Robyn over her inability to share more about her life, including Juan’s lawsuit and his firing from his job as a Head Coach. Needing comfort and a safe space to vent, Robyn called Juan. Instead of acknowledging that he messed up, or even that he was sorry that his actions were still causing her grief, Juan played the victim, and he yelled at Robyn.
“Robyn, why, why why, are you feeding into it?” he angrily whined, adding, “I can’t listen to this anymore, because it’s like, so ridiculous, and it’s getting blown way out of proportion.” As Robyn began to audibly cry, Juan gaslit her. “You’re getting emotional, for what? I can’t listen to this because my skin is crawling right now,” he yelled, before hanging up on Robyn.
Likewise, in Season 6, Robyn was struggling with depression related to the pandemic. At this, Juan called her lazy, and he also let her know how unattractive she was coming across, just by living a decreased lifestyle. We really wish that Robyn would run for the hills. Juan’s disrespect towards her feelings is constant, and it’s always so hard to watch.
Juan Has Never Respected His Marriage to Robyn
We’ve already covered a few instances of Juan’s inability to emotionally show up for Robyn. The real kicker, however, is that Juan has cheated on Robyn multiple times. Every single time, Robyn has tried to explain away the circumstances, rather than walk away from the cheater.
In Season 7, rumors of Juan’s cheating during the pandemic hit. Robyn went on the defense, until the alleged mistress debunked Juan’s explanations on the Georgio Says YouTube channel. Here, the woman claimed that she and Juan had spoken for a year, and that she had flown to Maryland to visit Juan, not, as Robyn had stated, to see another player. As for her hotel receipt with Juan’s signature, Juan had tried to tell Robyn that he had paid for this woman’s room and then left, as she had lost her wallet.
“That doesn’t make sense, any of it,” the mistress stated, adding that she and Juan did hang out. She also called out Juan’s marriage, saying Juan admitted “their relationship was for television, for the fans, for a paycheck.” Even still, Robyn defended him, claiming that Juan’s cheating wasn’t physical.
In the Season 8 premiere, Juan and Robyn were newly remarried, but photos soon emerged of Juan hugging a woman at a laundromat. The woman was Coach Bre, from Juan’s former employer, Coppin State University. Juan was also spotted with Bre at a nail salon, but of course, Juan flipped the script, claiming “You see an attractive dude with an attractive girl, so of course, their imagination is going to run wild.”
Robyn, please realize your worth. You deserve the same level of love and support that you have given, not the disrespect that’s arrived instead.
