Now that her attention is no longer focused on Dancing with the Stars, Ariana Madix is spilling the tea on the upcoming Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules.
On December 10, Ariana visited Andy Cohen’s Clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live to talk about what we’ll see in the post-Scandoval era. Ariana shared that Lala Kent cries the most this season, James Kennedy talked the most behind people’s backs (as usual), and Brock Davies seems to be Tom Sandoval’s new best friend.
Ariana named Katie Maloney as her “most loyal friend.” She observed that she and Katie were the biggest drinkers of the season, partly due to most of their co-stars being sober. But the biggest pot-stirrer? Definitely Scheana Shay, according to the former SUR bartender.
Where does she stand with Sandoval?
Initially devasted by Scandoval, Ariana has had a very good year, especially in comparison to Tom. While he appeared in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, he spent most of the year trying to rehab his reputation. But Ariana’s risen from the ashes of their relationship like a Phoenix.
She had a role in a Lifetime movie, got invited to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, made an appearance on Love Island, and came in third place on DWTS. Next, she’s headed to Broadway to star in Chicago. Additionally, she released a new cocktails book and is preparing to open her sandwich shop with Katie. And she’s got a hunky new boyfriend: personal trainer and fitness coach Daniel Wai. Winning!
Even though Ariana previously made it clear she expected her friends to pick sides, she’s not enforcing that rule. “I will never tell anyone else what to do or who to be with,” she clarified. “But I will make sure that I’m behaving the way that makes me comfortable. So, if I feel uncomfortable … I will just remove myself.”
Along the way, she learned a few things. “I can do hard things,” she told Us Magazine in her October cover story. “The worst-case scenario literally did happen, and I was OK … Over time, I’ve been able to love myself more and give myself a lot more grace … And that has allowed me to give others more grace.”
Personally, I can’t wait to see the new, confident Ariana Madix in Season 11. In the long run, Tom Sandoval did her a big favor by being cheating pond scum.
