Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover have been going strong for two years, and in the public eye no less. They met while filming Summer House, and Paige appeared on Craig’s show, Southern Charm.
They are still long-distance, with the Summer House star based in NYC and Craig in Charleston. They disagree on when to take the next step in their relationship. Paige isn’t ready to leave New York, while her boyfriend is hoping to get to engaged by the end of the year.
Their discussions on the matter were filmed for both respective Bravo reality TV shows and fans are familiar with the issue. But interestingly, this issue is not the most pressing matter between them.
Paige jokes that she “created a monster”
In an exclusive interview with The Messenger, Paige revealed what she and Craig really fight about.
“I never thought that I would ever say this in my life, but one of our biggest fights is about glam,” Paige said. “I take the allotted time, which is an hour and a half. I always say to him, ‘It’ll take you five minutes. Chill out.’ He likes to have a 30-minute time [slot] reserved, because he wants to feel pampered. It’s really coming between the two of us, and I don’t know if it’s going to stop.”
Well, that is a pressing issue. But it seems the duo manage to work it out, with a little bit of NY humor that Paige is known for.
“It would be really on-brand if we broke up over glam. I wouldn’t be mad about that!” Paige added.
The fashion contributor added that she “created a monster!” in that Craig started indulging in facials and “luxury” after meeting Paige.
“I’m going to start a business,” she joked. “Send your boyfriend to my apartment for two months, and I’ll whip him into shape!”
As the holidays approach, there will be more opportunities to show off the glam. But hopefully Craig won’t be grumpy about getting the short end of the stick. Luckily for Paige, it’s his “favorite time of year.”
