It seems the rift between the sisters has been resolved for now. Kyle Richards suffered a setback with her sister, Kathy Hilton after Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The reunion was especially tough to watch for anyone with empathy of a difficult dynamic between sisters.
The feud seemingly took a toll on Kyle. But the she and Kathy are in a better place now, after spending time at the Hilton family Christmas party recently. And as such, it seems that the RHOBH star took no time to introduce her sister to her bestie Morgan Wade.
Rumors have swirled for months about Kyle’s relationship with the country music singer. The question is whether it is more than just a platonic friendship. Kathy didn’t add anything to that conversation, but did mention in a recent interview of her general positive opinion of Morgan.
Kathy “really likes” Morgan
“They are very good friends,” Kathy told Extra. Apparently, the duo share some heavier life experiences that they bonded over.
“Morgan had a mastectomy and my mother had breast cancer. Kyle really liked her music and hearing what she was going through, they clicked,” the RHOBH alum explained.
Another similarity between Kyle and Morgan is that neither party drinks.
“Morgan is sober and Kyle decided not to drink anymore, so I think they have been a really good influence on each other and I think they are enjoying each other,” Kathy said.
“And that’s all I know,” she added.
Recently, Kathy hosted Kyle and Morgan at her house. The musician brought a tattoo artist so the Hilton matriarch could get some ink.
“Kyle brought Morgan over and we spent a lot of time together. I really, really like her,” Kathy added.
Kathy also chose to get a tattoo in honor of her reconciliation with Kyle.
“I wanted to do something and bond, so we did my favorite, which is a four-leaf clover, so it’s special,” she dished.
“All I want her to be is happy,” Kathy added. “The children are the most important, my nieces, and Kyle deserves to be happy, she is a wonderful mother and a wonderful wife, she deserves to be happy, she’s worked hard.”
