Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby returned for Season 4 in a part-time role. So far, we have repeatedly watched the holy one berate Whitney Rose and sit out nearly every group activity. No one gets between Mary and some McDonald’s takeout, okay?
But while she has been busy with her RHOSLC role, it seems she hasn’t been watching her son. Robert Cosby Jr. reportedly tied the knot while still living in Mommy’s home. And this was news to Mommy. He has also had scrapes with the law. In 2022, he was arrested for drug possession and DUI. In May 2023, Robert was charged with giving false information to police when he gave them a fake ID. It looks like Mary needs to keep a close eye on her beloved son.
Meanwhile, Mary has been quick to defend newbie housewife Monica Garcia. Mary said that the only RHOSLC cast member that Monica was on good terms with after the reunion was Mary. “So, you guys are in for a show. … I’ve got her back. I do,” Mary said of the upcoming reunion.
Mary is ready for Season 5
When asked by E! News if she wanted to return for Season 5, Mary replied, “Yeah, maybe. Only because I feel like I’m here for Monica [Garcia] and if I need to be full cast to make sure she gets where she’s going, I’m here to support her.”
During a recent episode of the show, Monica visited Mary’s house in Dr. Seuss’ Who-ville. She poured out her heart about her troubles with Lisa Barlow. “Don’t ever lose your mind over no one, ever. With Lisa, I feel like you both go back and forth,” Mary explained. “I feel like it’s not just her. I feel like it’s both of you,” she added.
As for the reunion, it sounds like it was fireworks the whole time. “It was good for me, I don’t think it was good for them. It certainly wasn’t good for Monica, but it was good for me,” the church leader said. “I was there for a little amount of time and then I was gone in the right amount of time. I poked in and poked out.”
It is a miracle that Mary filmed this reunion. Before she ducked out of filming the second season’s reunion. But does she do enough to justify having a spot on the show? I guess time will tell.
