Tom Schwartz of Vanderpump Rules still has lots of love for his co-star Ariana Madix despite their relationship taking a big hit in the wake of Scandoval.
But Tom wishes things could be better between them. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tom was asked about his current relationship with Ariana after everything they’ve been through.
He wishes things were better
Before talking about their current standing, Tom asked everyone if they’d seen Ariana do her cha-cha to Britney Spears on Dancing with the Stars. Naturally, the audience applauded and cheered.
“I feel like she’s solidified herself as, like, a pop culture icon. And you know, I wish we were on better terms. I’m always happy to see her. I don’t think she’s super stoked to see me,” Tom shared.
Gee, I wonder why?
Tom and Ariana’s friendship went downhill after Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Rachel Leviss was exposed in March. Ariana and Sandoval called it quits on the heels of the scandal after nine years of dating.
As more details from the infidelity emerged, Ariana pieced together that Schwartz had been aware of Sandoval’s activities for months. During the season 10 VPR finale, she decided to cut ties with him too.

“I don’t think you are a co-conspirator, but I will not have mutual friends with (Sandoval), so I am not your friend anymore,” Ariana said before crying.
And her anger wasn’t a one-off. She slammed Schwartz again when she appeared on WWHL. She mentioned she didn’t appreciate the narrative that was being formed without her knowledge and behind her back, “not just by my ex-boyfriend but his little flying monkeys as well… Tom Schwartz mainly.”
Hmm, sorry, Schwartz, it’s going to be a bit challenging to get on better terms with Ariana when she’s relegated you to flying monkey status.
