‘Outsider’ Tom Sandoval Teases ‘Interesting’ Vanderpump Rules Season 11

Like Luann de Lesseps once uttered on RHONY regarding that one guy who was her husband for about 10 minutes, many of us have probably been thinking “please don’t let [all of Season 11] be about Tom [Sandoval]” when it comes to Vanderpump Rules’ return.

Sadly, it looks like we might have to sit through his try at a redemption arc and reintegration into the dysfunctional friend group in the wake of his Scandoval scumbaggery.

Fresh off of losing Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test, Tom spilled the tea to PEOPLE about his experience filming the upcoming season of VPR and how the rest of the cast reacted to his attempt at a hat-in-hand return.

Tom returned to VPR as an outsider

We only saw Tom get kicked off of Special Forces on Monday night’s finale. However, he shared that when it happened in real-time several months back, he had to immediately return to filming VPR. “I had to go right into filming Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. So it was no downtime.”

No rest for the wretched. Crawling back to VPR after his affair with co-star Rachel Leviss behind his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix’s back proved tough for Tom since he’s an OG on the show and up until recently had never been alienated from the group (despite his consistently shady behavior – see: Miami Girl).

“I’ve never really been an outsider with everyone like I was. So that’s going to be, I think, interesting for people to see.” Tom added that it was “definitely one of my probably hardest seasons to film, ever,” said Tom.

Despite being on everyone’s sh*t list for months, the TomTom bar co-owner is patching things up, both on and off-screen. He’s treating getting back into the group’s good graces like a delicate soufflé — slow and steady.

Tom shared, “I’m just taking my time. You’ll see [on] this coming season of Vanderpump Rules how a lot of that stuff sort of plays out.”

We already heard that the tides might turn against Ariana from Ariana herself, so it’ll be interesting to see how low she had to go for Tom to come out looking good enough to be accepted back into the Pump Rules pack.

You can watch past seasons of Vanderpump Rules on Peacock. Season 11 is slated to return to Bravo sometime in January.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK MOST OF SEASON 11 WILL REVOLVE AROUND TOM SANDOVAL TRYING TO MAKE AMENDS? WILL HE BE FULLY WELCOMED BACK INTO THE GROUP?
