There’s a new couple on the block — and this time, it involves Southern Hospitality cast member Joe Bradley. Oh, and Summer House star Danielle Olivera, too!
Bravo fans have been eyeing the two reality stars since their flirtatious interaction at BravoCon earlier this month. “It was an instantaneous connection,” Joe told PEOPLE in a recent interview. “Before we even talked, we were making eye contact from across the room, and you could tell there was some tension there. We were drawn to each other.”
The Republic Garden & Lounge employee hasn’t been shy about his desire to find a romantic partner, so it’s unsurprising he took his shot at a star like Danielle.
“That day, I was asked on a panel with some of the Winter House guys if I had my eyes on any other Bravolebrities, and I just said Danielle, even though I hadn’t spoken to her yet. I was like, ‘That Danielle girl is really beautiful.’ And she didn’t even know I said that, but the next night, we started making out, and I took her back to my suite … And yeah,” he said with a smirk. “We had a great time.”
What’s the status of Joe Bradley and Danielle Olivera’s relationship today?
If there was any confusion about where both reality stars stood after BravoCon in Las Vegas, it was all cleared up when Joe sat in the audience to support Danielle during her November 14 Watch What Happens Live taping.
“She invited me to New York, and I thought she was just kind of saying it in the moment. Like, ‘Oh yeah, you should come.’ But two days later, she was like, ‘Hey, did you book your flight yet?’ And I was like, ‘Oh wow, she was serious!’ ” he recalls. “And then next thing I know, I was [wearing a microphone] and sitting in the audience at WWHL.”
Joe, who will appear in the second season of Southern Hospitality premiering December 7, said he thought Danielle would “want to keep me kind of low-key” because of how new their relationship is. But just as he said, “There’s no turning back now.”
Fortunately for Danielle, having their situationship thrust into the spotlight doesn’t bother him much. “That’s okay because I move fast once I know I like someone.”
The pair spent their time in NYC “walking through the streets of Brooklyn.” Joe added that the trip “felt like we were in a movie.”
