In May 2021, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent was a guest on the podcast Pillows and Beer. Southern Charm co-stars Austen Kroll and Craig Conover hosted the show. Having this trio together resulted in some shade thrown at Madison LeCroy.
Lala even brought up the rumors about Madison and Alex Rodriguez. Then Lala commented on Madison’s decision to have a mommy makeover. “You take a girl who’s like eh and you give her a mommy makeover and then suddenly, she’s feeling herself, but the insecurity still lingers, you know?” Lala explained. “She’s gotta pull you along and make it feel like you want her and this guy wants her.”
Now Lala has reflected on her comments and had a change of heart. It’s always refreshing when one of the Pump Rules gang has a moment of maturity.
Lala apologized to Madison
During the November 22 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, the host discussed her shady comments about Madison. “They were talking about she went in and did X, Y, and Z. She was very open about how she went in and got a ‘mommy makeover,’” Lala explained. “And I said something in a very flippant way that was not kind. And it wasn’t really directed at her. It was just a stupid comment, like I do.”
Lala felt bad about her remarks and she apologized to Madison at BravoCon 2022. And again at BravoCon 2023. Madison received a double apology because Lala’s statements “really, really hurt” the Southern Charm star.
“This BravoCon when I saw her, she was so sweet, like, we had squashed it. But I checked in again,” Lala said. “And I just broke down sobbing. And I was like, ‘I just am so sorry.’”
She continued, “And she was like, ‘Lala, you are going to make me cry. We’re fine.’”
But Lala wasn’t finished with her apology tour. She added, “And I was like, ‘No, but you are so sweet. I never want to hurt somebody who doesn’t deserve to be hurt.’” Amen! I think.
