Kathy Hilton is publicly addressing the marriage difficulties Kyle Richards is currently going through. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum might have some tense times with her little sister, but she appears to have her back when it comes to lessons in love.
While Kathy and Kyle had a rough go when Kathy appeared on RHOBH, the two have seemingly mended their broken fences amid Kyle’s troubles with Mauricio Umansky. Now Kathy offers her opinion on the future of Mo and Ky.
Kyle is resilient
Kathy appeared on the Today Show with daughter Paris Hilton promoting Paris in Love. Naturally, the conversation drifted toward her sissy’s highly-publicized marital strife. “When I first saw it, it just broke my heart,” she began. While Kathy and Rick Hilton don’t have the best relationship with Mauricio due to past business dealings, Kathy certainly doesn’t want Kyle’s marriage to fail.
Kathy noted, ”Kyle, believe it or not, she’s the youngest, but she’s the strongest.” This is a very kind thing to say knowing the history these two have. But sometimes the strong ones are the most sensitive – they just hide it better. Kathy added Kyle is “very strong, she’s resilient.” No matter what happens in Kyle’s future, Kath said “I just want her to be happy.”
As far as Kyle and Mo working things out, Kathy shared, “There’s no way that Kyle would have gone this far unless she really thought about it.”
The ever-observant Paris added a profound, “She’s looking hotter than ever though.”
Mauricio and Kyle are currently kind of “separated” but still living under the same roof. They also just spent a lovely Thanksgiving together with family and all of their kids. On Instagram, Mauricio wrote, ”I’m grateful and thankful for life, I am grateful for all the love and energy. [Thanksgiving] is one of my favorite holidays because it reminds us all to have gratitude.”
At BravoCon, Kyle shared it will be Christmas in Aspen with the group, including Mauricio. “Yes, we’ll probably all be together in Aspen. And we did our summer trip together, we were fine.”
While it’s great to hear Kyle and Mauricio are getting along or at least tolerating each other, all of this simply adds more fuel to the speculation the marriage problems are a sham for a storyline. Both Kyle and Mauricio have denied those allegations.
