Summer House fans were shocked when Carl Radke broke off his engagement with Lindsay Hubbard just three months before the wedding. So was the bride-to-be.
Danielle Olivera, Lindsay, and Carl were close friends. When Carl popped the question, she was concerned that the relationship was speeding ahead too fast. Lindsay and Danielle had a falling out, and it looked like “the three amigos” were down a member.
During BravoCon 2023, Lindsay, Danielle, and Carl were all part of the “Charming House Rules” panel. Which seemed awkward, just the way that Andy Cohen likes it.
Danielle is done with Carl
Danielle was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, and spilled more tea about the state of her friendship with Carl. Spoiler alert: It was not positive. “Where do you stand with Carl today?” Andy asked.
“I’m not on good terms [with him],” Danielle replied. But when Andy asked if she saw Carl alone at BravoCon, Danielle confirmed that she did. “I did, in like the ‘Watch What Happens Live’ like little back area,” she explained. “It was wildly uncomfortable.”
When Carl dropped his soon-to-be bride, Lindsay wasn’t the only Summer House star who was astonished. Danielle was “100 percent” shocked by the couple’s split.
In October, Danielle made it plain who she was riding for. “People are like, ‘Do you talk to Carl?’ I’m like, ‘No, absolutely not,’” Danielle stated. “There’s a line in the sand. I’m on Team Lindsay.”
Danielle revealed that she and Lindsay established a new friendship. Danielle said, “I think that we set a lot of good boundaries in the beginning of the summer, which you’ll see play out. We kind of like formed a new friendship and it’s a really, really good one,” she added.
I’m glad that Danielle was there for Lindsay, and that their friendship is back on track.
