Aubrey O’Day Shows Support for Cassie After Bombshell P Diddy Lawsuit

You probably know the name Aubrey O’Day but she’s definitely a blast from the past. Aubrey starred on a reality show back in the day called Making the Band 3. It ran on MTV and featured young hopefuls trying to please their mogul mentor and become his prodigy.

Here’s the first red flag, Lou Pearlman was the creator of the show. It originally aired on ABC but MTV took over in 2002 and Sean Combs became executive producer. For the third season in 2004, Aubrey began her 6-year “relationship” with P. Diddy and Danity Kane.

Ultimately she didn’t reach superstardom with da band, but most people are very aware of her interesting legacy. In September, Aubrey revealed Diddy had recently requested she sign an NDA and not speak poorly of himself or the Bad Boy label.

Diddy had disclosed he was giving his artists he signed rights back to their music. Once that was announced, she received the NDA and chose not to sign. Thanks to that move, Aubrey is speaking out on brand new allegations that are about to rock her former boss’ world.

Cassie is mentioning it all

Cassandra Ventura, otherwise known as Cassie Fine is a singer and actress. Cassie met Diddy in 2006 and signed to Bad Boy. She also apparently signed up for a lot more than she thought. Allegedly. If you are of a certain age, you already know the streets have been talking about Diddy and Cassie for years. They began dating in 2007 and were on and off for about a decade.

This week, Cassie filed an epic sexual abuse lawsuit against Diddy. She’s accusing him of rape and repeated physical abuse throughout their relationship. Aubrey, the non-NDA signer, is backing Cassie every step of the way.

To say Aubrey is not coming in for his defense is putting it mildly. She took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Been trynna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen @cassie.” If you’ve been listening since the 90s, several people have tried to speak on Diddy’s supposed activities.

After reposting the new lawsuit info, Aubrey captioned it, “Only [sic] day ya’ll are gonna put some respect on my name when I tell you things.”

Aubrey also shared a statement to Rolling Stone. “I am in full support of Cassie. It isn’t easy to take on one of the most powerful people in this industry and be honest about your experience with them. I know what her heart is feeling right now, because I have done so as well.”

It continued, “May her voice bring all the others to the table, so we can start having more transparent conversations about what is actually happening behind the scenes. There is a lot more to all of our stories!” She’s not wrong. “The others” are currently beginning to speak. Azealia Banks shared her thoughts on an Insta Story as well.

Call her Aubrey

Last December, Aubrey appeared on an episode of Call Her Daddy. She detailed being fired in Season 4 of Making the Band because she “wasn’t willing to do what was expected of [her] — not talent-wise, but in other areas.” Aubrey also advised she was “the only girl that was in those types of positions.”

Diddy is currently in some “type of position” and Karma is holding for him on line one. Cassie is happily married with two children. Aubrey will continue not signing NDAs. And everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Allegedly.
