Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent probably knows a cheater when she sees one. After all, she had a lot of practice after having to stare into the soulless eyes of Randall Emmett over the years. Infidelity has been a hot topic on Bravo in 2023, we’ve gone from Scandoval to whatever is going on between Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky.
While Kyle and Mo’s drama hasn’t reached the fever pitch of the VPR scandal, it’s not for lack of trying. Many fans believe “the separation” is for “the storyline” and doubt the spectacle is real. Now Lala is saying she’s heard rumors about Mo in the past and the gossip might have legs after all. She spoke about it on an episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala.
“Kyle and Mauricio were goals”
Despite the streets buzzing about Kyle and Mauricio since long before Season 13 premiered, Lala said she’s always admired their marriage. That said, those same streets have been rumbling about Mauricio’s alleged affairs for a minute.
“Kyle and Mauricio were, like, goals, right? And yes, I live in L.A., I’ve heard rumblings for a while about Mauricio. Now I know where there’s smoke, there’s fire. But there are crazy people who just make s*** up. And Mauricio is very hot, so I could see people making up that they hooked up with him,” Lala shared.
Yes, some people make stuff up. But the whispers about Mo have been around at least since Season 4 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Lala also clocked the photos of Mo with his Dancing with the Stars partner Emma Slater.
As far as Ocean’s mom is concerned, those pics were for publicity to gain attention. Not for nothing, it worked. I mean, it didn’t keep Mauricio on DWTS, but at least his nasty court case is hanging below the radar.
“I think it’s for publicity, I don’t think it’s real, I don’t think they’ve had some sort of, like, love story, behind the scenes of dancing and touching each other’s body and doing the salsa together. I just don’t see that being like, ‘You’re the one for me,’” Lala noted.
The new Kyle
Lala seems to think Kyle is currently in the driver’s seat amid the marital mess. She thought Kyle standing up to Mauricio and his tattoo terms was hot in the first episode of the new season.
“Kyle was so incredibly sexy this episode. And I think it’s because she’s kind of looking at him like, ‘I don’t f* need you.’ It’s the confidence” she added. Lala also felt Mauricio “looked sad” but it’s probably because he was thinking about splitting $100 million.
