Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards and her older sister Kathy Hilton are in a better place following their explosive blow-up during Season 12. However, Kyle fears they’ll return to square one once RHOBH Season 13 finishes airing.
Kathy joined the cast of RHOBH during Season 11 as a recurring cast member. During her first season, fans worldwide fell in love with her quirky personality and ability to turn heavy situations into a light-hearted moment for everyone. Things, however, took a turn during Kathy’s sophomore year on Bravo. After facing incessant attacks from Lisa Rinna about her meltdown on a girl’s trip to Aspen, Colorado, Kathy paused her relationship with most of the women. But it was Kyle who suffered the most.
“I was devastated [following Season 12],” Kyle said on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast. “The women have to ask me [where Kathy and I left off], and since I thought it was done, I was honest in the moment [about our relationship].” Now, she’s worried what she said will upset her big sis.
“It’s so hard with my family,” Kyle continued. “I don’t want everything to have to be like, ‘That’s it. We’re done.’ Like, why can’t we just have an argument and make up like normal people?”
Will Kathy Hilton appear on RHOBH Season 13?
The RHOBH Season 12 reunion went off like fireworks. There were fights from every angle between Garcelle Beauvais, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, and Erika Jayne. The series’ biggest villain at the time, Rinna, also had her big spoon in hand and was ready to stir up mess whenever needed.
On the other hand, the showdown between Rinna and Kathy was intense. Although Kyle was the only one shedding tears, these two Real Housewives were going at it. Kathy made shocking allegations and claims, including calling Lisa the “biggest bully in Hollywood.”
After the conclusion, it was unclear if both stars would return to Beverly Hills for another go-around. Viewers had been calling for Rinna’s firing for some time, but since she was the group’s self-proclaimed “LeBron James,” her exit didn’t seem too promising. However, she did announce her plans to leave the series in January 2023.
As for Kathy, she wasn’t interested in filming anything with the Fox Force Five — instead, she chose to shoot takes for her daughter’s Peacock reality series, Paris In Love.
Season 13 of RHOBH will feature more familiar faces, though. Cynthia Bailey from The Real Housewives of Atlanta will appear alongside Denise Richards and Camille Grammer.
