Mauricio Umansky has decided that he’s about fed up with all the drama. His relationship troubles with Kyle Richards have taken a harsh toll on the couple. That’s been evident for a long time now, but no more so than at BravoCon 2023.
In an interview at the convention, Kyle used the word “divorce” to refer to the situation between her and Mo. That was the first time anyone close to the situation said “divorce” rather than “separation.” Later, Kyle said it was a slip of the tongue.
Moreover, during a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills panel, Kyle broke into tears while discussing the situation. Mauricio was nowhere to be found during the convention. Reportedly, he cannot take the drama anymore.
Mauricio is tired of “the public eye”
An insider spoke with The Daily Mail about Mauricio’s feelings amid his split, suggesting he was tired of the “endless drama,” and needed to walk away from the “misery” of the situation. “His relationship with Kyle was incredible,” the insider said. “They have their kids, their wonderful memories, and now it is misery.”
They went on, “He has a choice to stay in that misery or try to move away from it. He is choosing to move away from it, that is why he didn’t attend BravoCon, it is just endless drama that he doesn’t need.” As previously reported by Entertainment Tonight, Mauricio skipped out on BravoCon to spend time with Emma Slater.
According to the source, Mauricio had been “dreading” BravoCon. “To deal with a separation is one thing but to deal with that in the public eye is miserable.” However, Mauricio was happy that Kyle hadn’t divulged more than he expected at the convention. Mauricio is reportedly unsure “what else he can do,” and wants to move forward dealing with things “behind closed doors.”
