It might seem like Shannon Beador got off pretty easy after driving drunk and ramming her car into a house. The Real Housewives of Orange County star has seemingly received more grace than a “regular” person who might blow 3x over the legal blood alcohol limit.
But Shannon is a TV star and she’s rich with connections. Those connections may or may not have helped Shan stay out of jail, but in all fairness, this DUI hit-and-run was her first (caught) offense. So Shannon will not have to worry about what organic goods are available in the prison commissary because she was slapped with community service. But it’s STRICT community service. Radar has the scoop.

No bars (literally) for Shannon but she’ll probably have to clean stuff depending on how this all works out. She’s extremely lucky to have received such a soft sentence despite deciding to drive drunk and place others in danger. Also, her dog Archie is probably still traumatized and has put off car rides for a while.
It’s court-ordered classes for Shannon, which hopefully she’ll have to attend in person. During her court trial, she didn’t show up but her lawyer was certainly there. Shannon had more important things to do like memorize what she was going to say at BravoCon.
The judge ordered Shannon to complete a whopping 40 hours of community service, which is basically one work week. She also has to complete a 9-month alcohol program. At BravoCon, Shannon made sure to tell anyone in her near vicinity she took it upon herself to also complete a 28-day outpatient counseling course with an “alcohol component.”
Shan has until January 4, 2024, to enroll in the alcohol education class. If she neglects to do so, she could face additional punishment. As far as her ONE WEEK of community service goes, hopefully, she’ll be able to complete it prior to the May 2, 2024 deadline.
At this time, Shannon will film RHOC Season 18 without delay.
