Season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to return to Bravo in the coming months. Surprisingly, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice were able to film without ripping each other’s heads off.
It looks like Tre really has closed the door on the Gorgas for good.
Melissa recently spoke with E! News at this year’s BravoCon and shared how she and Teresa were able to navigate filming a show without interacting. “We’ve navigated through that really well, I think, this season,” she said.
“We’re doing what we can as a team. Unfortunately, it is a group, and it is a team, and you need to be some type of team player to be on the team.”
Melissa found peace without Teresa Giudice
MelGo added in her interview that despite not speaking with her sister-in-law, she’s been in a peaceful state.
“We have all been in the same room together, but her and I have no communication, which I’m pleasantly pleased with. I have found peace, and I’d like to keep it that way.”
Teresa and Melissa have been at war with each other since Season 3 of the reality show. After years of ups and downs, make-ups, and breakups, the couple’s relationship reached a boiling point during Season 13 that damaged them for good when Luis Ruelas spoke about cheating allegations involving Melissa.
Joe, Luis, Mel, and Tre had a massive blowup at the finale, which resulted in the Gorgas ditching Teresa’s wedding shortly after. At the reunion, the Jersey OG declared she was done with her brother and sister, leaving many wondering how the show could continue.
Executive producer Andy Cohen dished about the upcoming season and how their relationship will play out.
“I thought there was something very refreshing about them this season, co-existing to the point of everyone realizing how much they hated each other,” he said back in June. “But they were around each other, so I think they can co-exist.”
