You would think by now that any Real Housewives star, especially an OG, would have learned how to hide secret affairs while they are still married to their significant other. Yet, some information still seems sketchy from the 90210. Kyle Richards is no stranger to finding herself in the spotlight, though it seemed like uncharted territory when her marriage to Mauricio Umansky was called into question.
The mother of four had been spotted with Morgan Wade, who was an unheard-of country singer before she hitched a ride on Kyle’s coattails. Morgan has had a few successes of her own, including her debut in 2022 at The Grand Ole Opry.
Kyle Chooses A Sober Life
Looking back, there seemed to be small kernels dropped by Kyle that could indicate an affair. In July 2023, Kyle shared that she had been alcohol-free for one year, noting that quitting drinking was a “win-win” for her via an Instagram post. At the time, Kyle wrote, “A number of things made me come to the conclusion that I didn’t want to drink. First and foremost, I didn’t feel it had a place where I personally wanted to be.”
In 2022, Morgan shared a video, via People, explaining her journey of sobriety. The singer shared that she was coming up to five years sober and that writing about her struggles had been cathartic, sharing, “I think that’s a beautiful thing. I think as a songwriter, from the exterior, I look really tough, the tattoos and everything like that. It’s good not to pretend like everything’s so great.”
Could it be that another reason Kyle became sober was to help support her friend or possible lover?
Kyle ‘Stalked’ Morgan
In February 2022, Kyle shared her first post hinting at the fact that she had befriended Morgan. In a nice yet odd shout-out, Kyle told fans, “I stalked @morganwademusic on IG after listening to her music while driving solo from Utah to Colorado while making #housewivesofthenorthpole & today we met up in person for the 1st time. The most unlikely of friendships, some may think, but kinship knows no boundaries.”
My first question is, why would befriending a musician be an “unlikely” friendship? It happens all the time. Was Kyle possibly hinting at a deeper connection to Morgan?
In September 2022, Morgan asked Kyle to be her date at the Americana Music Awards as well as the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Since then, the two have been posting about their whereabouts almost in sync—signaling they are never too far apart from one another.
Morgan’s New Music Video Was Steamy
I know Kyle is a pretty decent actress, but it doesn’t explain all the chemistry the two had while shooting Morgan’s new song, Fall In Love With Me. Some lines of the song jumped out as she sang, “I don’t know what time zone you’re in” and “You text me from the yacht, you’re sipping cider. Don’t worry, I ain’t tipping off Insider.” Kyle is well known for vacationing on yachts with her family for the summer holidays. This past August, she and her entire family, including Mo, were enjoying the Italian Riviera on a luxury yacht. Coincidence? I think not.
Shortly after Morgan posted her new song, she penned a touching note to Kyle thanking her for believing in her work, signing off by writing, “Thanks for the support and love. Love is love is love.” Needless to say, the video got followers thinking, especially after watching them feed fruit to one another, sharing an intimate bubble bath, and almost locking lips.
Matching Tattoos and Rings
61 weeks ago, Kyle revealed her newest tattoo—a dainty heart on the side of her wrist. Eagle-eyed followers were quick to point out that Morgan also had a heart on her left arm. Kyle spoke up at the reunion, noting, “This heart is a heart, and it means something to me.” It also didn’t go unnoticed that the two women seemed to have matching silver rings, which they were wearing on their left wedding ring fingers.
Kyle has denied having a love interest in Morgan. “Well, I can tell you that she is absolutely one of my best, best friends in the world, as well as Teddi. We’re all very close,” Kyle commented on Watch What Happens Live.
It could be that Kyle really does just have a close friendship, but only time will tell.
