Dolores Catania may have been promoting The Real Housewives of New Jersey at BravoCon 2023, but her comments about RHONJ Season 14 might put some people off. We’re all tired of Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s war of words. The fact that family would go so low in attacking one another? Not everybody’s cup of tea.
Teresa is no longer speaking to her sister-in-law, or brother, Joe Gorga. She said that “chapter’s closed” during a BravoCon panel, and was booed. For someone who shouted, “Stick with your blood,” in her brother’s face, you would think she’d do anything to keep the family together.
Some people still think they’ll be able to work things out, but those numbers are dwindling. After seeing Tre’s behavior over the past few seasons, and then the dismissal of her wedding by Joe and Melissa … there doesn’t seem to be any hope here.
Dolores “got a little choked up” during RHONJ Season 14
Speaking to PEOPLE, Dolores said that this season “was even a lot for me.” She noted she wasn’t the type to usually get emotional, but that changed here.
“You didn’t see it. I’m not telling anybody really, but there was a point where I got a little choked up once,” she explained. “The hate that I saw, and the hard feelings I saw and the fighting was so deep, it ran so deep.”
She then said that she wants to go back to what the cast had in Ireland during Season 13. “I call it ‘the last supper,'” Dolores joked.
Of course, we know that Teresa and Melissa have barely any interaction during Season 14. The pair refused to film with one another, so where exactly is the hate coming from?
Dolores has always been the New Jersey housewife to bridge the divide. So, it’s likely she’s had conversations with both Teresa, and her brother and sister-in-law. Exactly where everybody else slots into proceedings? Alliances have shifted! It’s going to be a whole new RHONJ when Season 14 premieres in 2024.
