Andy Cohen discussed Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey during his Ask Andy panel at BravoCon. He told the crowd that they would find the season “refreshing” because Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga weren’t pretending to be friendly. “I mean, they just hate each other,” he said.
When the crowd chanted, “Fire Teresa!” Andy might have been surprised. Teresa’s hubby, Luis Ruelas, is used to such behavior. He was booed repeatedly during a charity softball game that was filmed for the show.
During the Day One Diva panel, Teresa shared what fans can expect during Season 14 of RHONJ.
There are liars, liars everywhere…
A fan asked the RHONJ OG what her “peak” was of Season 14. “Showing a lot of receipts,” Teresa stated. “I’m all about receipts and [being] black and white. I hate liars and we’ve got a lot of those on the shows. Yeah, a lot of liars,” she added. Let us not forget that Teresa has, at times, also been estranged from the truth.
As for her “pit” of the upcoming season? “I don’t really have a pit, I feel like there’s gonna be redemption this season. Finally,” Teresa said. “I did go through a lot of stress this season, which you guys will see, but I’m still waiting for my ‘fun’ season, so that’s what I’m looking for.”
Season 13 was bogged down in the messy family dynamics between Teresa and Luis, and her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa. After years and years of arguing, the siblings severed their relationship. But the Gorgas and Giudices continued to film. They just ignored each other.
This “refreshing” new dynamic has opened up the door for shifting friendships and alliances among the cast. Hopefully, Season 14 of RHONJ isn’t a dud.
