Welp the consequences of racism are still coming for Ramona Singer. I guess this is what happens when you f*ck around and find out. Not only has Ramona been booted from BravoCon, she’s now lost her main money-making gig.
Playing around with sensitive material is a dicey game and Ramona just lost. While never seemingly taking race relations seriously, she’s had several incidents that put her in the hot seat. I guess Ramona might have gone so long without punishment, she felt invincible. Now we find out it took Bravo 15 years to put Ramona in her place but Douglas Elliman doesn’t mess around.
Ramona has been FIRED
Page Six is doing the Lord’s work and keeping everyone informed of Ramona’s downfall. After all, she would probably still be giggling away at BravoCon if a Page Six writer hadn’t publicly called the former Real Housewives of New York star out.
This week we’ve learned Ramona won’t be headed to Las Vegas and now we find out she won’t be showing Upper East Side condos with a walk-in closet because Douglas Elliman doesn’t want her either. On Tuesday of this week, Ramona found out she’s done at DE.
All of this fuss comes after Ramona was clocked in a Vanity Fair article for being racially insensitive. Something Bravo has been covering since Ramona began referring to those in the service industry as “the help.” Her superior attitude was mostly encouraged, as she never had to face repercussions for her big mouth. Even after Ramona was directly accused of using the N-word during the production of RHONY, an internal investigation was deemed “inconclusive.”
Thankfully those outside of the Bravoverse are unwilling to accept such inappropriate and barbaric mannerisms at their places of business. Namely, the real estate company where Ramona used to be employed. She had been working for the Douglas Elliman firm since November 2021.
Representatives for Ramona were not available for comment, but they could be busy looking for alternative job placement at this time.
