Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp hinted that she and her bestie, Kyle Richards, have something in common. She insinuated that both she and Kyle were cheated on by their husbands.
Photos of Kyle’s estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, holding hands with his pro partner on Dancing with the Stars, surfaced. Mauricio and Emma Slater both claimed that they were only friends. But Kyle was troubled by the photos.
And in the Season 13 RHOBH premiere, the tension between Mauricio and Kyle was unmistakable. He tried to stop her from getting more tattoos. Then she shaded him for not knowing how many she had on her body.
Teddi dissected the scene between Kyle and Mauricio
Teddi talked about that scene between the Umanskys on her podcast, Two Ts In A Pod. She noted that Kyle was angry, while her husband seemed calm. “Most of the time, the person that effs up isn’t the angry one,” Teddi stated.
Her co-host Tamra Judge asked, “So you think he’s the one that effed up?” Teddi responded, “I think that it’s clear by watching this that Kyle is hiding how she’s feeling about things with Mauricio.” It looks pretty clear that she isn’t thrilled with him.
“I think it’s clear at this point Kyle’s not ready to open up fully and it looks to me like she’s protecting Mauricio but she’s freaking pissed,” Teddi continued.
Were both Teddi and Kyle cheated on in the past?
@breakingtherules_podcast on TikTok posted a clip where Teddi hinted at being cheated on. She explained, “I think we’re just gonna keep seeing more and I think it’s really, I think it’s also jarring to us because [Kyle and Mauricio] always come off as such a united front. You know you’ve always seen them as this couple, but I’m sorry when traumatic things happen, and that is actually what happens,” she added.
Teddi feels for Kyle and her situation. “For years I had so much resentment towards Edwin [Arroyave], and it was to the point where I couldn’t even look at him. And the fact that we’ve been able to work through it has been huge,” she said. “But like once you’ve been burned, it’s really hard to come back.”
Tamra sounded shocked. “Wait, are you saying he cheated on you?” she asked Teddi.
“Um … I’m saying, I’m saying that the photographs that, um, Kyle just had to see online from TMZ were very triggering for me,” the RHOBH alum said.
It certainly sounds as if Teddi was alluding to Edwin cheating, and Mauricio also.
