Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke have always had a bumpy relationship. During Sutton’s first season holding a diamond, she questioned Erika about her estranged husband, Tom Girardi’s, legal woes. Erika clearly wasn’t a fan of Sutton’s curiosity in front of the RHOBH cameras.
Sutton shaded Erika’s Las Vegas residency and its shockingly low ticket prices. Then Erika bashed Sutton for her behavior at a Magic Mike Live show. Apparently, the action caused Sutton to have a meltdown. We don’t even know if she had a chance to use her stack of dollar bills.
Erika Jayne teased her RHOBH dynamic with Sutton
Erika was recently a guest on the Housewives Nightcap podcast. The host, Lauren Herbert, stated that Sutton “kind of made a dig at [Erika] over the summer.” Lauren asked, “Where do you guys stand now?”
“It’s tough with Sutton because, like you were just saying, she can be nice, and then make a dig for no reason,” Erika explained. “So it’s very unpredictable and you just have to leave it right there.” Plus, Erika is “focused on [herself].”
She added, “I’m focused on moving forward. I’m focused on good things. If someone wants to act like that, that’s on them.” Erika still sounds salty after the Magic Mike Live debacle.
Sutton’s confusing feelings about Erika
In August 2023, Sutton spoke to US Weekly about “this very strange bond” she has with her RHOBH co-star. “It’s kind of a love-hate relationship. Because at the end of the day, I like her,” Sutton said. “We fight, but then I like her.”
Sutton also revealed that she saw a calmer Erika during Season 13. “This season, we really didn’t fight that much. It’s funny. We did fight, but then we didn’t,” the boutique owner remarked.
“I think we see a softer side of Erika this season … I think that things have calmed down in her life. And so it’s nice to see this person. She’s more like the person that I first met,” Sutton added.
I guess Erika and Sutton will keep viewers on their toes this season. Who knows? Maybe they will have another fried chicken luncheon and hash out their issues.
