Now, it seems like there is trouble in paradise, or is there? Honestly, it’s hard to know what to believe when it comes to the Real Housewives. Their Love Story, Cracks, and First Wave of Rumors
In 2011, Dorit and PK both lived in New York. While dining at the same restaurant, the pair met and quickly hit it off. In 2014, the two welcomed their first child, a son named Jagger. After tying the knot in 2015, they had their second child, a daughter named Phoenix, in 2016.
Towards the end of that same year, Dorit joined the cast of RHOBH. In Season 7, we met this lovely family, cushioned by an affluent lifestyle and various accents. We can only guess how horrific this was for Dorit, and how maddening it must be now to have her spouse questioning her feelings.
Now married for eight years, the cracks are growing. In fact, Sutton Stracke chimed in during a confessional in last week’s premiere. She claimed that the night PK received a DUI, he might have had a woman in his car. While Sutton stressed that this was a rumor, Erika Jayne also shaded Dorit, asking her about the strength of her marriage in a sneaky-like tone.
It’s expensive to be Erika these days, so she’s working hard for her yearly diamond-holding contract. It’s giving ick.
Erika’s BravoCon “Joke”
During a shady game on the Watch What Happens Live stage at BravoCon in 2022, Erika was questioned on who she thought would be the next Bravo couple to split, Erika played coy, saying that she didn’t want to answer this question. Then, she stood up, walked to the front of the stage, and theatrically answered, Dorit and PK. Giving attitude and sass with a side of toddler, Erika then returned to her seat.
Everyone looked shocked, but Erika looked smug. Naturally, Dorit was upset. Right after, the rumor mills began to do their thing, speculating on what Erika must have known to have said this negative comment about her supposed friend. To Dorit’s face, Erika then tried to pass her statement off as a joke, which, ew.

In what is now our favorite scene in this franchise, Dorit started off Season 13 by referencing Erika’s BravoCon theatrics. In her first confessional, Dorit reenacted her co-star’s performance, leaving no crumbs behind. Watch it here, on repeat, like us. “That’s not a showman, that’s a b*tch,” Dorit stated, and we agree. But was Erika “joking” while knowing something that we don’t, or is she truly just a b?
More Rumors and Sightings
Marriage isn’t easy. Even in the best partnerships, fights, miscommunications, and even outside rumors can occur. As for the rumors that have surrounded Dorit Kemsley and PK’s split, well, there have been several.
Kyle Richards‘ now-estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, was seen comforting Dorit in an intimate manner following her home’s invasion. Naturally, because people were peopling, rumors began to make the rounds, all of which speculated on an affair between the two. Dorit called these rumors “gross,” and they both denied any wrongdoings. Currently, Kyle and Mauricio are separated, and the jokes on Mo now being free for Dorit are growing, and gross.
Over on the dumpster-fire that is Twitter, BravoBabe posted “Rumor has it PK is already out of the house…” Another source spoke to In Touch, claiming “They’ve been living separate lives for about two months after she ended it.” They then added that PK had been living at a hotel in Beverly Hills and was “heartbroken,” as Dorit’s “been telling people that she fell out of love with him, but they agreed to keep it a secret for now so it doesn’t affect the show.”
Daily Mail even just shared images of PK around town, sans his wedding ring. This is a lot of smoke. So, is there a fire?
Dorit and PK’s Joint Denial Statement
In a statement via People, reshared by gossip blogger Zack Peter, Dorit and PK denied that they were separating. “We have had some challenging years, which we openly discuss in the upcoming season of RHOBH. We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family.” And for the bluntness that we were waiting for, they stressed, “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so.”

This week, Kyle appeared on WWHL with John Mellencamp‘s annoying daughter. When a caller asked Kyle about the rumors of PK living in a hotel, Kyle looked shocked. She stated that she hadn’t heard these rumors yet, but when Andy Cohen pressed, Kyle’s smirk was clear, confusing us all the more.
