Malia White and Katie Flood met as co-stars on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6. As chief stew and bosun, the boss b*tches had a lot in common and quickly established a solid friendship. They’ve been inseparable since production wrapped.
Bravo producers decided to include the duo in the Winter House Season 3 cast, which includes Brian Benni from Family Karma and Tom Schwartz from Vanderpump Rules. Party loving, gorgeous, and active, Malia and Katie are great additions to the group. And it’s interesting that they seemingly came as a two-for-one deal. The question is, what is the deal with their friendship?
“It’s definitely co-dependency,” Katie said
Winter House Season 3 premiered October 24. It was all about the cast introducing themselves and getting to know each other, in the hopes of sparks flying.
As Katie and Malia sat in confessional together, a producer asked them to, “Tell [her] about your relationship.”
Malia joked, “That’s a good word, relationship. Because that’s basically what we’re in.”
Her New Zealand native counterpart responded, “Yeah, it’s definitely co-dependency at this point.”
Not only do Katie and Malia live together, but they “work together” on the same vessel. Since her Below Deck Mediterranean days, Malia has been promoted to Officer.
“We share an office, we share a cabin,” she explained. “When we’re not on the boat, we live in an apartment. Like, we pretty much are dating without the sex.”
The girls also travel together and have enviable Instagram presence. Katie and Malia collaborate on a podcast called Thirty, Flirty, & Flying.
It’s certainly going to be interesting to see them in a different environment on Winter House. And both ladies are on the prowl for a hookup. Malia already has eyes for Kory Keefer, who downplayed his relationship with Sam Feher on the season premiere. That’s clearly not going to end without conflict.
