Real Housewives Who Should Change Franchises

Every Real Housewives star resides in a given zip code, which dictates the series they appear on once hired. However, shared zips don’t always produce well-suited co-stars. This doesn’t mean that any ill-fitting cast member wasn’t cut out for reality television. More so, it might just mean that they have been cast for the wrong city.

Taylor Armstrong is the perfect example of this. She was the first Real Housewives star to switch locations. When she moved from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to Real Housewives of Orange County, she finally got to be the “little cinnamon stick in an actually successful pot of water.” Here, Taylor’s drunken antics during the finale episode definitely screamed RHOC, not RHOBH.

Since Taylor’s move worked, perhaps it’s time to start considering a few other relocations as well. Side note, If you’re thinking about moving Teddi Mellencamp to Real Housewives of Dallas indefinitely, we feel you (sit with this one if it doesn’t make sense at first…). On a serious note, these are the Real Housewives who should probably consider changing cities across Bravo‘s ever-expanding franchise.

Heather Dubrow – Move From RHOC to RHOBH

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 was tough on Heather Dubrow. I mean, these women left Heather in tears, which for us crosses a line. Watching any woman cry over difficult friendships sucks, however, this made Heather relatable, and now, we want nothing but the best for our little fancy pants.

During Season 17, viewers actually learned that Heather’s family sold their impressive Orange County mansion, “Château Dubrow,” for a cool $55 million. Cries in poor… What’s wild though is that they have already closed on a property in Beverly Hills, which is the series that Heather was born to star on, in my professional opinion. These women would understand Heather, and she would likely make fast friends with several of the ladies on this affluent cast.

Let’s face it; Heather is filthy rich. The women on her current cast are all paying their bills just fine, but Heather’s financials are on a different level. Her pocketbook, designer duds, and love of “champs” are much better aligned with Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, and Kyle Richards, who all star on RHOBH. All of this said, we are rooting for Heather, and we truly feel that she should change Real Housewives franchises, moving from RHOC to RHOBH.

Cynthia Bailey – Move From RHOA to RHONY

Cynthia Bailey appeared on Real Housewives of Atlanta for multiple seasons. That said, she has also taken a few pauses, as life has pulled her in different directions over the past few years. This includes a recent move to California, where Cynthia actually filmed with the cast of RHOBH. However, shortly after, Cynthia moved back to Atlanta, where she popped up during RHOA Season 15 Episode 13, spouting her signature line of “Now, what else is going on?”

Even though Cynthia tried her hand on RHOBH, we would love to see her crossover one more time, joining the reboot of Real Housewives of New York. Cynthia is a model and an actress, which often sees her traveling up the East Coast to the Big Apple for gigs. She is also not a wallflower, and really seems to come to life whenever she is filming in New York. For these reasons, we think that Cynthia would shine if moved from RHOA to RHONY.

Dorinda Medley – Move From RHONY Pause to RHONJ

Dorinda Medley was placed on a pause from Real Housewives of New York. Shortly after, her entire East Coast cast was reboot, shutting down any hopes at an eventual return. However, Dorinda is friends with several cast members from Real Housewives of New Jersey, including Teresa Giudice.

With her home base being in the city, she can film for this series without having to move. Also, I can easily picture the Jersey ladies spending a chaos filled weekend at Blue Stone Manor. Furthermore, I don’t think that any of these women would be off put by the fish room.

After far too many seasons of the same petty arguments, this cast needs a shake-up, and Dorinda is the perfect one for this job. In fact, Teresa actually spoke out on wanting Dorinda to join RHONJ. Dorinda’s “Clip, clip, clip!” could have been used several times last season, purely to cease the ladies never ending fights. For all of these reasons, Dorinda’s move from her paused showing on RHONY to RHONJ just makes sense.
