Bravo fans have loved watching the Real Housewives franchise unfold into an hour-long episode which consists of watching grown women argue over semi-important issues. While some fights have been downright dirty, other interactions have been hilarious and really tickled viewers’ funny bones. Since Bravo first came up with the idea of filming women behind the gilded gates with Real Housewives of Orange County, followers have stuck to the premises like white on rice, but what scenarios have been the funniest? Aviva’s Leg Throw
During Season 6 of Real Housewives of New York City, Aviva Drescher became so enraged with the rest of the women that she decided to throw her wooden leg onto the dinner table. As fans will recall, Aviva suffered a devastating childhood accident and was left with an amputated limb.
Aviva came across as a real kook who felt she had many illnesses. She dragged her husband along to the girls’ trip in St. Barths, which didn’t sit right with the women. On the same trip, she also called Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan “white trash.”
However, the real knee-slapping moment (see what we did there) came during the season finale as the rest of the women decided to air their grievances with Aviva. The blonde didn’t take the criticism sitting down. In one fell swoop, she replied, “The only thing that is artificial or fake about me … is this.” With a leg on the dinner table, everyone was left with their mouths on the floor, trying to figure out what the hell just happened.
Ken Todd Jumps In
During Lisa Vanderpump‘s last season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she and best friend Kyle Richards’ relationship seemed to fall apart at the seams. It all started when the Halloween Kills star chose to side with the other women regarding Lisa’s sneaky ways. Kyle also believed Lisa was behind selling fake stories to the tabloids about Dorit Kemsley.
It all came to a head when Kyle stopped by Villa Rosa and started arguing in the kitchen. Ken Todd, Lisa’s husband, inserted himself into the drama. It led a meme-worthy rant that ended with the couple kicking the child actor out of their home and Ken yelling, “Goodbye, Kyle!”
Karen’s Wig Shift
Karen Huger of Real Housewives of Potomac‘s wig dance will forever be one of the top moments in franchise history. While Karen loves portraying herself as the Grand Dame of Potomac, she is downright funny sometimes, especially when she gets called out.
While eating at a blustery picnic, Karen’s wig blew off in the wind. Candiace Dillard Bassett tried to help her, but the mother of two was holding on for dear life. Even viewers urged her to hold on, hold on, hold on! The light-hearted moment was added to when Ashley Darby added that “Cousin It” had made an appearance at the party.
Phaedra’s Extremely Odd Baby Shower
Now, viewers of Real Housewives of Atlanta know that Phaedra Parks loves, no, lives for, a good Southern party. But she missed the mark when it came to her baby shower. It left fans scratching their heads, asking, “What was she thinking?”
Everything about the get-together screamed hilarity—from the ballet dancers to the flower headpieces to best friend Dwight’s involvement in the planning. The Kentucky Derby-themed shower felt more like a three-ring circus with everyone rolling their eyes. However, Phaedra was thrilled, and at the time, that was all that mattered.
Joe Gorga Falls Down
Bless Joe Gorga for being able to rally with the best of them. As we write this, there are tears in our eyes at the memory of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star falling down. Joe was partying a bit too much in the Bahamas. He wasn’t prepared for the small step or sheer curtain blocking his way back into his room.
The father of three hit the ground hard with an awful grunt. However, he somehow managed to stand back up, collect his spilled ice, and remake his drink. What a champ! The small but mighty Joe took the fall as gracefully as possible but left fans with a forever-burned visual into their brains.
