Perfect Match Season 1 brought together some of Netflix’s most notorious reality TV stars on a dating show like no other. Though none of the couples that formed in Season 1 have stuck together, the show still delivered juicy drama. The show culls cast members from Too Hot To Handle, Love is Blind, The Ultimatum, and more. With the recent seasons of both Love is Blind and The Ultimatum: Queer Love, there are several stars who should join the Perfect Match season 2 cast.
Netflix announced that Perfect Match will indeed get a second season, and here’s hoping the following cast members make the cut.
Vanessa Papa
On The Ultimatum: Queer Love, Vanessa Papa was quickly established as a villain. It’s exactly what would make her so good on Perfect Match.
Vanessa dragged her feet when committing to Xander Boger, and after being issued an ultimatum in their relationship, Vanessa ended up losing Xander. At the start of The Ultimatum: Queer Love, Vanessa came across as cocky and narcissistic. However, by the end of the show it did seem like she gained some insight.
On Perfect Match, Vanessa would likely be interested in the other women, though she’s dated men in the past. However, Perfect Match would be vastly improved if it were to embrace the queer cast members of The Ultimatum Queer Love. Vanessa would undoubtedly cause a splash among the Perfect Match Season 2 cast. Here’s hoping she shows up to stir the pot.
Xander Boger
Xander was involved in the dramatic love square that was at the center of The Ultimatum: Queer Love. Hopefully, she could bring that messiness to Perfect Match.
Though she was the one who issued the ultimatum to Vanessa, Xander ultimately had no problem falling hard for someone else. Xander and Yoly Rojas developed a surprisingly deep relationship during their trial marriage on The Ultimatum.
Xander is effortlessly attractive and down to earth, which would be an interesting and welcome change from the many influencers often cast on Perfect Match. Plus, if both Xander and Vanessa joined the Perfect Match Season 2 cast, it could lead to explosive drama that would be captivating to watch.
Tiff Der
Tiff Der seemed to be one of The Ultimatum: Queer Love cast members who learned the most about themselves by the end of the season, and there’s a lot they could bring to Perfect Match.
Stuck in a toxic pattern with girlfriend Mildred Areli Bustillo, It took her trial marriage for Tiff to become more in touch with their feelings. While Tiff used to avoid conflict, at the end of the season, they easily communicated their needs. Tiff and Mildred unfortunately got engaged at the end of The Ultimatum: Queer Love. However, the couple broke up for good after an explosive and violent fight.
Talk about sex appeal, Tiff could easily draw the attention of some of the straight female Perfect Match Season 2 cast members. With their significant swagger and new insight into themselves, Tiff would really have pull on Perfect Match. However, they may not be willing to part with their dog for the duration of filming.
Irina Solomonova
When looking for cast members to stir the pot on Perfect Match Season 2, Netflix couldn’t do better than Irina Solomonova.
Irina was easily the biggest villain on Love is Blind Season 5. Viewers were equal parts disgusted and enraptured with her behavior on the show. After getting engaged to Zach Goytowski in the pods, Irina balked when they first met in person. It was abundantly clear from the start that she had zero interest in her new fiancé. The couple thankfully broke up while in Mexico, but Irina still made her mark on the season.
It was clear from the cast of Perfect Match Season 1 that Netflix wanted the most notorious cast members from its other reality TV shows. So who better than Irina to join the Perfect Match Season 2 cast? She would definitely cause trouble as much as possible, and her catty antics would make for great television.
Micah Lussier
Micah Lussier, Irina’s fellow Love is Blind Season 4 mean girl, would similarly be an excellent addition to the Perfect Match Season 2 cast.
During the pod phase of Season 4, Micah got on viewers’ nerves with the way she treated the other women. However, many fans’ opinions of her softened after her fiancé, Paul Peden, broke her heart on their wedding day. Paul gave a definitive “I don’t” to Micah at the altar, and even twisted the knife by saying Micah lacks maternal instincts.
Since her dramatic breakup, Micah seems to have moved on just fine and is ready for a hot girl summer. She’s recently been posting steamy bikini pics on Instagram, and frankly, it’s giving Perfect Match energy. Micah seems primed to go on another reality dating show, especially one with such a casual vibe.
