It’s time to get down to business regarding Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo’s messy Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip interaction. When she appeared on Teresa Giudice’s podcast, Namaste B$tches, Brandi let listeners in on never before heard info. Some may be interested to hear about Caroline’s initial introduction to the group. And Brandi shared that things started out smoothly between the two ladies.
“[Caroline] was definitely like more of a mom kind of figure when she came into the group. She [was] talking about her granddaughter a lot and like, getting her steps in, walking around the pool,” she said, as reported by Reality Blurb! “She was cool.”
Brandi revealed things got “a little wild” between the two during filming and believes Caroline was concerned about how it could appear on television. “Things got a little heavy and then the next day, you think about it and what people are gonna see and you’re like ‘Oh sh-t. That’s not my brand or … That’s not me.’ So I don’t know if it was a combination of everything. I don’t know what it is,” Brandi said. “I just want it to be over.”
After the RHUGT 4 cast announcement, fans were ecstatic about the returns of iconic Housewives. Phaedra Parks, Vicki Gunvalson, and Camille Grammer were joining to cast. In addition to that, former RHOBH star Brandi returned to the series with Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Caroline.
While the ladies were partying in Morrocco, reports began swirling about a sticky situation between two cast members. Allegedly, there was touching taking place that left Caroline feeling uncomfy.
“It was unwanted. And Caroline’s distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi,” the insider stated. “Things escalated and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline felt were serious and uncomfortable.”
Although Peacock hasn’t confirmed what went down exactly, insiders revealed that Brandi and Caroline left the trip early. Eventually, Peacock would release their statement. “The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action,” the statement read.
After returning to the United States, the work that Brandi had lined up began to halt. After an entertaining first season on The Traitors, Peacock held her back from participating in the reunion due to the bad press.
“Brandi wanted nothing more than to attend The Traitors reunion.” Her rep shared the competition show has been one of her “favorite projects.”
Later in March, Brandi went on a Twitter rant exposing more behind-the-scenes tea in the process. “I’m f–king sick of this narrative. I was hired for a 2nd season of girls trip cuz they LOVED what I did on 1st season,” she wrote. “I was told to bring the party just like before & that’s exactly what I did & I was punished for it.”
While Brandi is not suing anyone, although she did retain an attorney. “I’m not suing anyone. I just want to see the footage so that I can have a takeaway. They are not gonna show it to me,” she explained. “They declined to show it to me and it’s just like, I have to protect myself at this point. So I did hire someone to have someone having my back because this is getting to the point where [it’s] defamatory, really.
RHUGT Season 3 is now concluding, so we likely won’t see Season 4 for some time. But in between that, I hope the ladies can find peace BEFORE BravoCon 2023. It’d be nice to see Brandi and the cast present, but since Caroline said she’s never returning, I’m not sure that is reasonable.
