Gary King may have been hooking up with Daisy Kelliher on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3, but it seems he’s moved on. Crewmate Colin MacRae says that the First Officer gave him the “green light” to pursue relations with Daisy. All this after the Chief Stewardess claimed Gary was “definitely jealous” of the two hooking up! A love triangle unlike any other.
Speaking to Page Six via their Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Colin said that Gary “made it so clear to me that he had zero feelings for her whatsoever.” The Chief Engineer took this as “a green light from the get-go.”
Colin added that he had previously “joked about” hooking up with Daisy in prior conversations with Gary, asking him, “What if me and Daisy hooked up?” He claimed that Gary replied that he should “Go for it, man, go for it. That’ll be funny.” Unfortunately for him, once the cameras started rolling, the drama between the trio seemingly reached an unprecedented level. Hopefully, it won’t end in a paternity test. Been there, done that!

The trailer for the fourth season of BDSY saw Gary confront Daisy about her fling with Colin. Since joining the show in Season 2, Colin had never been single. Now with Season 4, audiences will for the first time get to see his flirt game in action. The trailer suggests he’s skilled in that department! But will this be a lasting romance? Or just another hookup on the stormy seas?
I’m very excited to see Daisy and Colin together. They have a similar energy, which may translate into the same values. Whether or not they can be a fully-fledged couple is another story, but a boatmance? Bring it on! The only downside will be seeing Gary so bummed out. He’s become a firm fan favorite since his shaky start on the show.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK COLIN SHOULD HAVE PURSUED HIS HOOKUP WITH DAISY? IS GARY GOING TO BE ABLE TO MAKE IT THROUGH THE SEASON SEEING THE TWO OF THEM TOGETHER? SHOULD DAISY STAY AWAY FROM BOTH OF THE GUYS?
