Todd Chrisley’s birthday is looking a lot different this year. The former Chrisley Knows Best star probably never thought he would celebrate turning 54 years old in a green jumpsuit and tight combat boots. But things changed for Todd and Julie Chrisley when they were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion in November 2022.
When Todd and Julie reported for their respective prison sentences, their family was left behind to try and make sense of the mess. Their children, Chase Chrisley and Savannah Chrisley appear to be suffering from a good bit of denial, no doubt believing their parents are not capable of lying or committing crimes.
Savannah has obtained custody of her little brother and niece. Todd’s mother Faye Chrisley now relies on her grandkids for virtually everything. Savannah has admittedly been under a great deal of stress while she grieves the loss of her parents. Now the family is about to face the first major occasion since Todd and Julie went in.
While Todd observed another candle on his cake in a place where candles probably aren’t allowed, his family celebrated him on social media. Page Six has the details. Three out of Todd’s five kids gave out birthday tributes to their dad. The oldest son is a chip off the old block and is also incarcerated.
Savannah posted a family photo on Instagram. The caption read, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!! I miss you more than you’ll ever know.” It’s such a shame people don’t think more about the consequences kids suffer when parents are greedy.
She continued, “It’s been 80 days… 80 days since I last received a ‘goodnight my angel’ text or and ‘I love you more.’ GEEZZZ how I miss them!! My parents have also been together almost 30 years… and in that 30 years never have they ever spent a birthday apart. So today… I’m imagining us all together in one bear hug circle!! #happybirthday.” Now that’s a damn shame. Yet her parents still won’t take accountability or admit any wrongdoing.
Chase shared a selection of photos over the years to his Insta. His caption said, “Words can’t describe how much i miss you, this will be the first birthday of yours and mine that we won’t be together but we are together in spirit.” Hope the Range Rovers and big houses were worth it to Todd.
“I Love you and I’m beyond proud of the man, father, and husband that you are! We live in a broken world with a broken system but i have faith that we will be together soon! Until then i love you and we will hold it down! Happy Birthday Boss,” wrote Chase.
Lindsie Chrisley who may or may not have had something to do with Todd getting busted wrote a Bible verse and added photos to her Instagram Story. According to Lindsie, her dad has made a lot of friends and is doing relatively well in his new environment. No word on whether or not Todd received any Gucci slides for the shower room.
