Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has already expressed her concern about this year’s reunion. Now, she’s doubled down on claims it is “gonna be tough,” and host Andy Cohen can’t help but agree. The pair are of course referring to the ongoing feud between Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga. Let’s also not forget hand-holding Luis Ruelas and Melissa Gorga.
Despite their anxiety, neither was surprised by this turn of events. Bravo’s The Daily Dish has all the details. “This has been [a] long time coming,” said Dolores. She also agreed that she doesn’t like seeing “the kids get involved.” Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice became a hefty part of the narrative last season, and more of the kids are now wading in.
Dolores gave her own advice to the family during her recent chat with Andy on Watch What Happens Live. “I think that, if it’s over, they need to stop talking about each other, and to each other,” she explained. “Just let time heal.” Easier said than done when on reality TV!
Andy believes that Melissa, Teresa, and Joe have found “clarity” in their relationship. Now that they are all ready to move on, will any of them really commit to rehashing out their problems at the reunion? That’s a question that will be answered when Season 13 comes to an end.
I think a majority of people watching RHONJ now want Melissa and Joe off the show. Whether you like Teresa and Luis or not, it’s hard to argue the series can survive without the last-standing OG. For many years, the leading storylines have all been about Tre. At least according to the woman herself. If she did leave, the series may have to go down the same route as Real Housewives of New York. After seeing the mess that franchise is currently in, that may not be the safest option.
TELL US – WHO DO YOU THINK WILL FACE THE TOUGHEST QUESTIONS AT THE REUNION? CAN TERESA AND JOE EVER WORK OUT THEIR DRAMA? SHOULD THE KIDS KEEP OUT OF THE FEUD?
