The #Scandoval of it all on Vanderpump Rules is bringing out the good, bad, and wacky of the fandom at large. Tom Sandoval cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss has broken the collective brain of every VPR fan and beyond. We’re all trying to figure out how we missed the signs that the two sleazy characters were sneaking around behind Ariana’s back for months. Thankfully, Bravo is extending Season 10 so we get the full picture of what went down.
One person who has been just as shocked as Pump Rules fans about the drama is Lisa Vanderpump. She’s the matriarch of the show who continually watches her employees make bad decisions and jeopardize her businesses. LVP is watching this all play out like the rest of us and going back to reanalyze the Toms, who I like to refer to as two giant walking red flags, for the liars they are.
As I’ve said, #Scandoval has brought out some weird theories. One of the strangest came from LVP’s old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills chump Teddi Mellencamp. Teddi loves inserting her boring opinions where they don’t belong, and she took it next level with #Scandoval. Teddi claimed that LVP probably paid Raquel to sleep with Tom to boost ratings for the show. Excuse me, Teddi, what planet are you on? Teddi should know from experience what happens when you poke the RHOBH Mama Bear. Now, LVP is clapping back.
Lisa took to Twitter to dispel Teddi’s little rumor before it garnered much traction. She denied paying Raquel or any of the VPR cast members to sleep with each other for ratings, according to Page Six. “They do that on their own…#fake-news,” LVP’s tweet reads. “Have a beautiful day everybody.” AKA, shut your mouth, Teddi, and just watch the show like the fan you are. There’s no shame — not all of us are natural-born Real Housewives material like Mrs. Vanderpump. It doesn’t mean you have to start outrageous conspiracy theories just to try to sound interesting.
